While we're on the subject of the Ultimate Cut, I like that it's got a more complete story based on the words of the people who have already seen it. I guess I should expect that since it's the unedited version, but it's still encouraging to hear. If the story can make sense of the character's motivations better than the theatrical cut did, I might like it.

Yeah, it seems that we'll get more introspection into Clark and Lex, which is something theatrical release really lacked, especially when it comes to the latter. I also hear that the pacing is much better in the Ultimate Cut, though it's not like that wasn't already expected to be the case. Anyway, it would seem that it fixes two major irks I have with the theatrical version of the film. There are others, but these two were the big ones.

I'm a little disappointed to find out the scene Zack talked about, Superman looking for his mother, is not in the UC. Hopefully it's included in the deleted scenes on the blu-ray/dvd.

I remember when it was initially released that Ben had gotten the EP credit. It said he was doing it out of support for Snyder. The above pic reaffirms that for me. Maybe I'm reading to deeply, but from everything they said about one another and that pic, it just seems like they have a genuine understanding.

Same here, been reading some things and I want it right now. And I just learned from Jumpman that we get a nice crane shot of Gotham, I remember omission of such shots being discussed on these boards rather recently.

Nice! You know, I really missed Gotham in the theatrical cut. I know it was not a Batman solo by itself but the lack of more Gotham upset me. That's another reason I'm really looking forward to the Clark Kent scenes of him investigating Batman in Gotham.

I think I saw that list in question but I forgot most of what I read from it so I'll keep it that way.
