BvS Who gets top billing, Cavill or Affleck?

Regardless of whether Affleck has similar screentime to Cavill (and I hope he does), Cavill should come first, he's already been introduced to the audience as a main character, all the others were supporting characters, so Ben should come before them.

Ruffallo, in his debut movie, had higher billing than Hemsworth.

Ruffallo and Hemsworth had higher billing than ScarJo even though she had more screen time than both of them.

Downey Jr had higher billing than Evans even though Evans had more screen-time.

So...I could see it going either way, regardless of who has more screen time.

As for who 'should' get it? I think it should go to whoever the main character is or whoever has most screen-time.

Since it's a Man of Steel sequel, it has to be Henry Cavill. I just hope they don't lose sight that it's a Superman movie with Batman guest-starring in.

NO that should not be it at all!

What you hope they don't lose focus on Superman it's his movie everyone is jumping into. He's the only established hero in this MOS/DC universe.

no this should be 50/50 split down the middle for batman and superman.

I just don't get why Superman fans would want to piss off batman fans?

I say we get a mud pit and decide this like sensible people... and have Henry and Ben wrestle for it in the true Greco-Roman fashion. :hubba

If WB/ DC keeps falling back to Batman, then they don't have a franchise at all.
With MOS being a success and the Superman legal issues apparently resolved, we should be getting new Superman animated TV series and movies.

Credits could read something like this - Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot.

Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg need to go on there somewhere.

I DEFINITELY think it's gonna be Cavill first. Definitely. Affleck second, obv, but really can't see them putting Affleck in front of Cavill.

If they put Ben Affleck before Henry Cavill, then they're telling me that it's gonna be more like a Batman movie than a Superman/ MOS sequel and that's concerning. They have to find ways to please both Superman and Batman fans and not go one way or the other.

Cavfleck. :o

But seriously, I would like to see Cavill get top billing and maybe Ben gets second or last billing(like both of them are the bookends of the cast like Sawyer said). I'm not gonna worry if Ben gets first billing too much.

Henry Cavill
Ben Affleck
Jesse Eisenberg
Amy Adams
Diane Lane
Gal Gadot
Laurence Fishburne
and Jeremy Irons

I don't think Affleck did too bad as DareDevil... He MIGHT might be able to pull off Batman. Just wish they were testing the waters in a different movie. Superman vs Batman... Should be done right!:fhm:

Like I suggested earlier. The billing should be.

Amy Adams
Henry Cavil
Ben Alfeck.
Jesse Eisenburg

or

Jesse
Henry
Ben
Amy

I think it will still be Cavill. He had some big name costars in the first film and he still got top billing.

Reeve and Keaton didn't get top billing in their first outings though.

Well, you could argue that in the first film, Costner and Crowe were that kind of actor. I know they've both fallen off a bit, but Costner was once one of the biggest movie stars on the planet and Crowe was huge for a while. Both are Oscar winners (Crowe for acting, Costner for directing).

In the recent press releases I think it's gone Cavill then Affleck, so I'm assuming it's going that way.

I think Affleck will come last.

Henry Cavill
Jesse Eisenberg
Amy Adams
Gal Gadot
Jeremy Irons
Laurence Fishburne
Diane Lane
and Ben Affleck

This is how I'm expecting it to pan out, with Affleck getting the last 'and' credit.

Brando and Nicholson are easily two of the top ten, maybe top five actors of all time. Crowe and Costner come nowhere near them. That comparison is laughable.

Also who cares? Batman will steal the show as always anyways.
