BvS had slow mo.
My point originally was that i saw slow motion action in the WW trailer, which reminded me of Snyder. And that worried me. It doesn't matter if Zack cooled down on the slow-mo in his last two films, it was still there in BvS, and if it wasn't, that's irrelevant to my point.
I was thinking If Affleck does step away from the Batman project they could always do a prequel. I later read BOF and Jett suggesting as such although he suggested a trilogy of prequel Batman stories and that's literally because he's against Batman teaming with super powered folks rather than because he thinks it's a good idea.
t:Just in case Ben leaves next year, Here's my free statement for WB to use next year -
"WB is proud to present The Batman from critically acclaimed WAR of Apes director Matt Reeves, who has come up with a fresh and exciting vision for the character. Years BEFORE the emergence of Superman, Batman battled the Clown of Prince, with Robin's life at stake, Jake Gyllenhaal will play the Caped Crusader the younger version of Bruce Wayne in his prime, with Ben Affleck producing to help this amazing story come to life in summer of 2019" and push for the narrative of how great Matt and Jake are, and how Matt push Ben aside or Ben might come back later (obviously not but when Jake is great everyone'd be Like F you BA). Please Jake make this happen =P
A good excuse as any to have his eyes covered the entire time like Spidey and Deadpool just w/o animating them.I enjoy Gyllenhall as an actor, but there's no way in hell I want to see him as Batman. His eyes are too close together and he'd look stupid with a mask on. Remember Kilmer? No thank you.
Voice is too high, he mumbles too much and he's just wrong for the part overall. But he's a fantastic actor, much better than his brother, and he would be incredible as Edward Nygma in a reboot. Too bad his brother is Batman, cuz now they can't use him for anything other than a brother role. I think Jake Gyllenhaal would have been a great Riddler or Joker in this universe. He'd be a good Riddler in general, again, not in the Nolanverse because his sister played Rachel Dawes so it would have been strange. Casey would have worked in the Nolanverse (as Nygma) now that I think of it. He even has a past with Nolan.Younger Affleck?
...why not Casey?...

Unlike the Afflecks, unless you told me I wouldn't have guessed the Gyllenhaals were related.I think Jake Gyllenhaal would have been a great Riddler or Joker in this universe. Jake could either look terrifying with a cowl over his face, or absolutely adorable hahah. It's so hard to tell. A cute puppy or a friggin psycho. His eyes are insane.
They've already made the decision to introduce us to this Batman at this point in his life. It's time to move forward, this is the choice they made. Going with a full on prequel just creates more problems. Plus if they are gonna show a younger Batman at any point in the film, they'll just age Ben down or do that freaky CGI thing.
