From what I've seen ST. HPB comes less than a centimeter behind.

You'd me remiss to not include The Hurt Locker.

Plus, I really loved Adventureland, but maybe that's just me.

For me: (No order)

Adventureland
The Hurt Locker
Summer Hours
Up
Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince
Drag Me To Hell
Public Enemies
Moon
Watchmen

This is a poll thread with no poll? ;)

Of the movies I've seen, it's probably a tie between Star Trek and The Hangover. Half Blood Prince as well. They're all different movies, but equal in quality and way ahead of everything else.

I haven't seen Drag Me to Hell, but I owe that movie a lot. After my girlfriend broke up with me in the spring, I was wondering what would would trigger her regret button. Ended up being that movie. Made her realize what she gave up.

The Hangover.

Went in with low expectations, came out loving it. Best movie of the summer IMO.

Star Trek. I know very little about the franchise so I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it, much less understand it, but I fell completely in love with it. It may not make it into my top 10 fav movies of all time, but it stands at #1 on the list of best '09 movies.

I'd go with "Watchmen", but I also have to acknowledge "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", "Up", "Star Trek" and "The Hangover". Those would round out the best of 2009 for me so far.

Angels and Demons, Watchmen and Up. I have yet to see Public Enemies though, so i expect that one to be right up there.

watchmen, taken, the hangover, transformers rotf, A&D, and star trek. i want to see bruno, i have a feeling i would love it.

Damn, I still need to see The Hangover and The Hurt Locker. A friend of mine told me it was very good.

But Watchmen, ST, and HBP are my favorites thus far.

Will the poll be multiple choice? Watchmen, Star Trek and Transformers 2 are all up there for me.

Top Five:

Star Trek
Up
Watchmen
Angels & Demons
Drag Me to Hell

She had gone to see the movie with this other guy. I guess Justin Long's character was a very good boyfriend in the movie. She told me he reminded her of me, in that I would do just about anything for her and that I would always be there. The guy she was with kept laughing at the fact that Clay would be that way, at the end of the movie saying something to the effect of "b****es come and go." Really put things into perspective for her.

:hehe:

Something tells me this thread should probaby have a poll. :o

Gotta go with Star Trek, but Watchmen and Up aren't far behind. Going to see Moon tonight, which I hear is fantastic, so I may have to change my vote by tomorrow.
