Best 2009 Movie So Far Poll.

So far I've seen Wolverine, Star Trek, Angels & Demons, Terminator Salvation, Public Enemies, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

At this point I honestly think Half-Blood Prince is the best movie I've seen this year.

At least as far as movies I thoroughly enjoyed, Star Trek would definitely be second. I liked Public Enemies too, and I actually liked the much-maligned Angels & Demons, but Wolverine and Salvation were mediocre.

She had gone to see the movie with this other guy. I guess Justin Long's character was a very good boyfriend in the movie. She told me he reminded her of me, in that I would do just about anything for her and that I would always be there. The guy she was with kept laughing at the fact that Clay would be that way, at the end of the movie saying something to the effect of "b****es come and go." Really put things into perspective for her.

So far I think it's looking like (In no order):

The Hurt Locker
Goodbye Solo
The Girlfriend Experience
Moon
Bruno
The Hangover
Sin Nombre
Public Enemies
Up
Watchmen
Coraline

Honorable mentions: Away We Go, Adventureland

Other acclaimed movies of the year so far I've yet to see: 500 Days of Summer, Humpday, Everlasting Moments, The Merry Gentleman, Tyson, Tulpan, Funny People, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I've only seen 'Watchmen' & 'Wolverine' so far, so 'Watchmen' easily wins.

Up (best film this year so far)
Watchmen
The Hangover

Waiting to see...

The Hurt Locker
An Education
Public Enemies

Worst so far..
Wolverine
TF2
Terminator 4

Ive only watched
Bruno, Public Enemies, The Girlfriend Experience and Watchmen: DC.

The Director's Cut of Watchmen is the best so far. I still have not seen The Hurt Locker, Moon, or Up yet.

My best is Star Trek, here's my top 10

1. Star Trek
2. Drag Me to Hell
3. Up
4. Watchmen
5. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
6. Public Enemies
7. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
8. The Hangover
9. Taken
10. Bruno

The top 5 flip around a lot for the exception of Star trek, but there it is.

The best I've seen is The Hangover. Star Trek and Up are noteworthy too. The only others I've seen are Taken, Night at the Museum 2, and Harry Potter 6.

And there are several good-looking ones out that I haven't seen: Funny People, The Hurt Locker, Bruno, Moon, Drag Me To Hell, Away We Go, 500 Days of Summer, Public Enemies, and probably some others.
