Me too. It's gonna be a bit sad when Loki ultimately reverts to his adult self. But between Gillen and Rodi and JMS and even Bendis (in Siege and its buildup), the current take on Loki seems to be pretty complex at any age. Even when he was a more straightforward villain as an adult, he had a very unique way of approaching traditional supervillainy.

I've been wondering about that a bit and I have a possible theory that would satisfy everyone. What if Ikol gets himself a body? Then you have both the bad and the less bad loki running around. Kid loki is just too much damn fun to take out of the equation.

They need to put Kid Loki in Avengers Academy quick before the movie comes out and ruins everything. God forbid if Marvel doesn't conform to the yearly cash cow.......stupid Avengers movie.....:cmad::o

If he's the way he was in Thor it'll play, he was more complex less a cackling villain. And they do have Ikol to fill that villain role still.

I'm curious though, anyone reading New Mutants (I'm not due to budget reasons) is the hell dog he gave warlock used or going to be?

I'm so far behind on that book it's not even funny. I've got a stack of New Mutant books about 6 or 7 high that I haven't read yet.

I like the idea of hell dogs running around. Has a game of thrones feel to it.

As annoying as it's been to see Asgard linger in ruin for a year now, it has provided a good means of infusing more fantasy into the "normal" Marvel universe. They've tried to limit the mainstream comics to just sci fi and aliens and social issues for too long. Magic seems to be on the rise again thanks to all the attention the Thor movie brought to the character and his little corner of the MU.

I dunno, magic has been pretty prevalent since Dark Reign when Bendis was shoving Son of Satan, Dr Strange and Brother Voodoo down our throats on a monthly basis. JiM seems to have a Twilight Zone sci-fi aspect to it that takes place in a magical world.
