I just read on CNN that the National Weather Service says anyone who ignores evacution orders and rides it out faces certain death.

To bring Hype up to whats happening, on how massive this storm is.

Galveston has a SeaWall that runs most of the length of the island to the Gulf of Mexico. Its 10-15 feet tall.

Today, the storm is well over 200 miles out still, and Galveston is NOT getting rain. The waves are so tall at this time already, they are spilling over the SeaWall.

Scary....Some areas have flooded, and "its a nice day" just because of the storm surge in front of the storm.

Just like Katrina. People are like " Yeah we got this **** under control. We anit leaving here."
