X-Men
The Dark Knight
Iron Man
Blade
Spider-Man

TDK and Iron Man are very close to each other. Making Spider-man last was easy because I didn't like any of them, and I liked all of the other movies except for Blade: Trinity.

I agree they are not the greatest films of the presented field (I would concede that point to Bat Bale), but I've had the most fun with the Iron Man movies, so that series gets my vote.

This might be worth an update as you could add Thor, Cap, Wolverine and the new X-Men now

I went for TDK trilogy only as much as I love the Raimi films equally, but TDK films have a better third film, just, than the Spider-Man films, for me, only just mind.

To everyone saying TDKT:

I did one a little while ago.

Third Best Comic Book Movie Trilogy

From my point of view, think TDK would be #1, if we did everything else, I think it's a very good possibility that Cap would win given the strength and reception of all 3 movies. Also the Cap Trilogy, doesn't have an Iron Man 2, Origins, Dark World, Apocalypse, The Last Stand or Spider-Man 3,

The poll I did, had Wolverine, Thor & the new X-Men movies already and the Spider-Man movies led.

The funny thing is, the reaction to TDKT is way better then the reaction to the Cap trilogy. TDKR went over well with the vast majority of folks. That some act like we got Green Lantern instead doesn't really change that.

As a film, it gets a lot of credit, and ended up with similar reviews to TWS and Civil War. Maybe better, it has been a while. Begins was received a lot better then The First Avenger as well.

For the record this thread was made before the Cap trilogy ended (although I don't really consider Civil War a full fledged Cap movie, but more like an Avengers sequel focused more on Cap than usual), I imagine it'd be different today.

My list remains pretty much the same for the most part.

1. The Dark Knight Trilogy
2. Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy
3. Cap Trilogy
4..... X-Men: First Class Trilogy?

I dislike Iron Man 2, XOW, X-Men 3, and Blade Trinity too much to rank those.

Hopefully Guardians will be near the top one day.

Even if the Captain America trilogy were an option, I'd still vote for TDK trilogy, mainly because The First Avenger isn't great and Civil War feels more like the Avengers 2.5 than a Captain America movie.

Of the three offered, I have to go with the Dark Knight trilogy. If Keaton had done one more movie, I think that probably would have won it hands down for me.

Will there be a Deadpool 3?

Better be. :argh:

Considering how much the first two made, it would be an odd move not to by Disney and they've already said they are open to an R rating so seems like its being heavily considered and thought about.

Probably doesn't count, but I have to throw in the Daredevil Netflix shows. 3 awesome seasons that progressively got better and stuck the landing on the final season.

Yup. Daredevil’s the best superhero trilogy for me.

No Snyderverse Trilogy option?

Man of Steel > Dawn of Justice > Justice League

The Alan Silvestri trilogy is the best ever:

The Avengers
Avengers: Infinity War
Avengers: Endgame

But because the word trilogy doesn't mean much in MCU, I'll answer TDK.

1) The Dark Knight trilogy - TDKR is great despite what people say!
2) Captain American trilogy - Dont like Civil War too much but Winter solider carries
3) The Wolverine trilogy - Origins is a guilty pleasure

Cant really call the Avengers a trilogy imo. The movies have no connective links storywise other than having the same core members. Captain America trilogy is complete because each movie is directly linked to the last - mainly through Bucky.

1st. The Dark Knight Trilogy

2nd. Raimi's Trilogy (1 & 2 are so good that they carry three)

3rd. Captain America trilogy

After a lot of soul searching I'm going with the Cap trilogy - the only other trilogy that comes close is TDK.

I've been rewatching Cap TWS and I feel like it's nearly the equal of TDK, it's pacing is slightly better, the suspense is nearly as good and while Ledger is awesome as the Joker, TWS is still a very menacing opponent.

The films match up something like this:

Batman Begins > First Avenger

TDK > TWS but not by much. It made a Cap fan out of me, and before then I really disliked the character.

TDKR < Civil War, and it's not even close. CW is a massively satisfying film, with superb storytelling, action and characters.
