Best Twists Ever

"The Perfect Storm", that giant tidal wave came out of nowhere!:wow:

Batman Begins: Henry Ducarde as Rah's al Ghul
Primal Fear:Ed Norton Dual personality trikery
Usual Suspects: Spacey's Lies...Its all from the wall
Heat:Richard's anger of Snitch cost him a free life
Casino:Nicky bangs Ginger and cause a rift between him and sam....

The Illusionist.

I loved the ending. Didn't see it coming. Maybe I'm just gullible, but I began to see it as Edward Norton's character (Eisenheim) having a unique magical and mystical ability.... they "showed" Jessica Biel's character (Sophie) being 'killed' and later found by Eisenheim and others. Twist- this was just a plan to get Sophie away from her husband to be Prince Leopold.

We saw that Eisenheim was seriously mourning the loss of Sophie, but turns out in the end- Sophie is and actually always was alive.

This twist caught me off guard and is the best twist of the two magic films released this year- in my opinion.

The Best twist? Are you sure?

Yeah, it was very unpredictable, but not the best one.

There are other movies, which had much better twist ending than this one.

The Illusionist was good movie, but not amazing. It's twist was used several times (the most in detective TV series), so I don't agree with you.

1. The Usual Suspects
2. Donnie Darko
3. Fight Club
4. Memento
5. The Sixth Sense
6. The Prestige
7. American Beauty
8. Se7en
9. Blade Runner
10. Batman Begins
11. Twelve Monkeys

OK OK OK. Someone please explain to me the twist in Donnie Darko since it was mentioned. I saw no twist really. It was just boring dribble throughout to me.

The Twist was the movie.
The whole Frank getting revenge on Donnie
the Donnie must die to save the universe.
That movie rocks my socks to the brink of Helltown.

no one thought Jack Sparrow would die at the end of POTC 2

L'Audition with Luc Picard?
If it's so, I saw it coming in a certain point but it was an excellent movie!
a Japanese horror flick called Audition
By Takahashi Miike

I suggest you rent it

So I was the only one who saw that ending coming a mile away?

Standard rule of cinema: If you don't see someone get murdered onscreen, they aren't dead.

It was still a good movie though.

And I enjoyed the ending to the original Halloween.

Loomis shoots Michael, Michael staggers back towards the balcony of the house, then Michael falls back over the balcony. It seems like he's dead, especially since his body is sprawled on the ground below. But Loomis looks over the balcony, and Michael's body is now gone.
