People always ask who's the better Batman but I noticed that Bruce Wayne is also as important as the Bat. So who did the Bruce part better ?

Honestly, Ben's Batman is maybe better than Bales's (although I personally prefer Bale's) but for me Bale did a much better job in portraying Bruce Wayne. I mean Ben's Bruce Wayne is just so bad, filled with cliche moments, **** expressions, cringe dialogue and above all, Ben's legendary bad acting skills.

Ben's Bruce in BvS was ok, in JL it was a completely embarrasing disaster.

The fact that Ben is a **** actor (He's a fantastic director) while Bale is one of the best actors of this generation pretty much sum it up.

Affleck. I never liked Bale's Bruce Wayne (loved his Batman).

Wow, really unpopular opinion. I heard people complain about Bale's Batman but when it comes to Bruce, nearly everyone agrees that Bale was perfect.

I've seen a lot of people say that Affleck nailed Wayne, that he basically is Bruce Wayne.

Although Bruce Wayne is a bit of a jerk, I've always seen him as basically likeable (Keaton, Conroy and Greenwood I think got it right). I didn't get that with Bale, even when he was alone with Alfred and not having to put on 'the act'.

Bale's Wayne I think is spot on. But, his Batman voice....ugh. But, this is a Bruce Wayne poll, so vote goes to Bale

Bale. I can't believe this is even up for debate. Ben's going back and forth between a fake drunk routine and barking angrily at everyone in BvS was somewhere between mediocre and awful. Bale was spot-on with his Bruce Wayne, aside from maybe a little too much pining for Rachel.

I remember seeing Bale in Equilibrium and thinking that he’d be a great Bruce/Batman.

Bale by a good way for me.

Although in fairness, Affleck is one of those actors where I’m very aware I’m watching the actor. It’s why I’ve never been that hot on Affleck.

Slightly unfair comparison.

Bale starred in three expertly made movies, under the direction of a master.

Affleck starred in a flaming turd, under the direction of a manchild, and a second flaming turd, half directed by the same manchild, and half directed by a bald bloke in over his head.

This poll is really about who’s the better actor. The answer is of course Christian Bale.

I'm tempted to use a laughing gif and call it a day, but people wouldn't like this nonsense.

I can't say Affleck cause his Bruce Wayne was written the poorest the character has ever been, there are no exceptions.
Christian Bale is a great performer who had the privilege of having a great script that serves the character well, and balances both sides of his personality very well.

Affleck was Bruce Wayne? He was just the fleck with a hairpiece to me.

Bale, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, Keaton, West, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, Kilmer, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, space bar, Clooney, Affleck.

^Six, five, fourteen. I made a 'space bar' count.

Bale, but he also got better material.

I liked Affleck as Bruce Wayne in BvS.

But when it comes to best live action Bruce Wayne, it's Bale no contest. I have many problems with Bale as Batman, but his Bruce Wayne is perfection.

I voted Affleck with a huge caveat: I haven't seen Justice League. I felt he embodied the role better. For some reason I never was behind Bale, though he gave a great performance and had better material.

Another thing to note from Bale's Bruce is that the way he portrayed two sides of Bruce Wayne perfectly.

The playboy Bruce, and the lonely guy who's burdened with guilt for the death of his parents (and later Rachel).

That scene in the penthouse where he's sitting holding his cowl while talking about Rachel's death. Yep, Bruce Wayne. The moment he entered the party with girls on his arms. Yep, Bruce Wayne.

And I still stand by that he is the better Batman as well. Can't believe people think Batfleck is better just because "but uh he looks like he comes out of the comics!1!". His batman is the dumbest Batman I've seen yet so far, especially in JL.

And they say, Batman is the best detective. Lulz.

So yes, for Bruce Wayne, it's Bale.

Affleck did his best and he was better than anticipated, but Bale's skills were tailor-made for Bruce Wayne.
