was at TRU yesterday...1 Gotham City Thug and 2 Survival Suit Wayne's on the pegs....guy stocking said they put out 2 cases,no more in the back,and no idea if or when they may get more....

it's the summer of 2008 all over again!

I'm kinda pissed. I've been following this line on Matty.com and have been waiting for the Two-Face figure patiently for a while now. Then, without word, they are all released in TRU before the line has been completely released online. I better be able to find these in stores or else I'm really done with this line.

Mattel is just a horrible, horrible company.

Went to my local TRU today and they only had one Survival Suit Bats. I grabbed it since I skipped it on Matty.com.

Just scored me Movie Masters Two-Face, Proto Suit Bats and Harvey Dent!!! Only 3 on the single peg. Apparently someone snaged the Jail Cell Joker that goes with this case but i already have 2 from matty.com. Now i dont have to pay the ridiculous $23.70 after shipping for Two-Face. Great figure and hope to get another to open up and display. I got them for $12.99 each, unfortunately no $4.98 pricing in my area.

I have a friend that works at our local TRUs and was talking to him about these and the new Mego styled superhero dolls. He said both those lines are now listed under TRUs computer as "collector" toys, and not every store gets them. He said its likely ours wont get the MM's because they still have a bunch of the old ones. Jokers, thugs, and Batmen.

As far as the Mego styled dolls, they had one case, sold out the same day, and dont know if they will get more in.

Toys r Us' ordering practices are wacked. That along with the comedy that is Mattel, there is little hope of finding any of this stuff. The best thing WB could do is take the license from Mattel.

Our TRU has a rather large supply of the original line of Movie Masters (Thugs and Batman making up most of the mass) and the last two trucks have included the new lineup of Movie Masters (Jail Cell Joker, Two Face, etc)

While it varies from store to store, this seems to be a rather different ballgame compared to the way stores rarely got shipments in the first few months of Summer 2008.

If anyone was able to pick up two extra Two-Face figures, I'd be willing to pay what Matty advertises. I want the figures, but at this point don't really want to give Matty the money.

i squealed like the little fanboy i am...an hour later,she came home with these for me....

Dude, we gotta love the women in our lives sometimes huh lol. I spoke to one of the managers at my local toys r us this morning because there was one lonely Harvey Dent hanging on the peg. He stated that They have only received them twice in the last 3 weeks and it was only 1 box per shipment.

I scored Two face, Proto Bats, and Dent last week, so hopefully come Wednesday's shipment i can get me an extra Two face to open and hopefully customize as good as yours dude, and possibly get my hands on an extra Jail cell Joker. By the way what did you use to darken the area on Harvey's Face? That looks freakin great!!!

ManInTheNarrows - dark grey acryllic paint from Wal-Mart...you can get a tube for like 98 cents....

Darkness Falls - both Dent's and Two-Face's coins are metal...
