Did you guys kno that Shop-Rite sells MM's? I found out the hard way today. I was a range of emotions from shocked to confused, to excited, to dissapointed, to pissed, cause of course...there was only Batman. yay...f'n scalpers, even hitting grociery stores now

Ummmm depends what they are...Unless they are a case of Thugs with Joker masks or Chase figures, I think it's pretty safe to assume they won't go for nearly that much. Even the Joker market has settled way down.

Are you CERTAIN it's the same figure though the only reason I ask is because on another message board some guy was chimin' off about how much 'better' the figure was because his eyes were painted smaller and he had a different gloss on him armor....weird

It is NO different. I am 110% sure of this. It is the SAME figure, just posed different. PLEASE do notspend your hard earned money and feed these scalpers who want you to believe it is some rare item. They are popping up everywhere. It's just like the hype that people created about a so called "friendlier" looking Joker figure. Which was a rumor that got totally out of control. That figure sculpt NEVER changed. The photos that circulated were of a figure with a slightly different paint job that made the expression look a little different. That's ALL! Mattel even CONFIRMED the only running changes were to the packaging and not the figure yet people on Ebay still advertise a mean or friendly looking Joker. I feel so bad for the people who spent $75 or more on them when they were going crazy on Ebay. The figure out now in the 3rd wave revision is the EXACT same as the first wave, just different vents on the package. The only TRUE variations in this line are the Thugs with the different masks (and I think it is ridiculous what people are paying for that bank robbery Joker mask one) and the chase figures.

Oh yeah, to keep everyone informed. I checked out a Toyfare mag today and i believe that an Moc Joker is worth $75 dollars and any thug regardless of which mask it comes with is only worth $18. I think the price for the unmasked chase was about $30

I like how you put that, (A toy is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it). I love these movie masters but I'm just not willing to put down more than store price for one, no matter which figure it is. Also good point about the secondary market. I hate ebay

I paid $16.99 CDN for my Movie Masters Joker ..that's about as much as I'd pay for ANY of the Movie Masters... anyone shelling out like big money for ANY Movie Masters figs is a sucker IMO ... and anyone selling them for horribly inflated prices should be shot ... it's one of those 'bragger's rights' deals.. 'hey I got a Movie Masters Joker or Fear-Toxin Batman or whoever' mentality ... I got mine because I ordered a case .. I searched for the first few weeks of May looking for them and said 'screw it' .. if it's meant to be. I'll come across one by accident... and of course my long awaited case arrived a few weeks ago... so it was meant to be .. I find myself not caring even now that I have it .. it's on display on my shelf but I am more interested in the actual collector's items more so

In the end you might as well keep your cash and get a Hot Toys Bank Robbery Joker if you want something with REAL collector's value.. once Mattel starts flooding the market with Movie Masters, their secondary market values will decrease significantly .. I'm waiting until then to get the rest I want ... I'm sure closer to Christmas, we'll be finding MM Joker's all over the place (well except for Canada.. we STILL haven't and doesn't look like we will get any in retail)

Now that's a true collector if I ever heard one .. gotta ask.. the BB Ras Al Ghul .. are we talking Mattel and Liam Neeson's Ducard?? there's three of him .. Brown tunic, Green tunic and TRU Exclusive Black tunic (same sculpts just different paint apps)

I was referring to the one all in black, I believe it's the TRU exclusive. I really like him, he's the best looking Ras in the line. lolt: I'm really wanting a darn Mad Hatter right now, Just recently got finished reading TLH.

Mattel needs to fix the Batman Begins figure in the line. It's way too damn small.

SWEET HELL do they ever! Soooo not impressed with the size of this figure nor the stupid ass ******ed arm joints...how ridiculous do those things look, I mean really?

They must compare the figures together before they say "Allllright guys, let's produce 'em, package 'em and ship 'em out!".....in this case they did it blindfolded so it seems.

I feel you 4Nutz. We have argued to death before,about the quality of Mattel products. I have no problem with the kid friendly 5 inch line for instance. And don't find it near as bad as you do. But how are you going to have a 6 inch collectors line thats highly detailed ... every figure has been excellence so far then the Batman Begins figure gets ruined. They have the gauntlets on reverese on opposite arms. I easily fixed this myself but I shouldn't have had 2. But the damn BEGINS figure is almost a whole seperate scale from the rest of the figures. It looks all anorexic and weak next to the intimidatin TDK Batman figure. When in reality the BEGINS suit is the bulkier more intimidating looking suit. I hope it gets changed in future releases. But as of right now, I can't even display it with the rest of the figures. It looks weak even compared to Scarecrow and Gotham Thug. I haven't measured but it might be the smalles figure in the line. Which is pathetic.

there was a bb batman, 2 scarecrows. They werent even in the system...so they sold em to me for 9.99

This has probably already been addressed several times in this thread, and I apologize for it (50 pages and dial-up internet don't go together well!) Is there going to be a Two-Face figure? I know I've seen photos of one leaked on the internet, and even though they were blurry, the figure looked detailed enough to be part of the MM line. Any word on another wave of figures which will hopefully include him?
