Better Class Of Toyline (Official: Movie Masters Thread)

I havent felt like this big a nerd in a long time but I kinda wanna build a "SLaughter is the best medicine" 18 wheeler....

I have been thinking about that for AWHILE now. For some reason that vehicle just fascinates me. Not to mention it plays a GINORMOUS role in one of the best action scenes in cinema history. How could we do it to fit the movie masters? The new Tumbler that releases the bat-pod sans the bat-pod fits the movie masters Batman. And size wise it's about right. Imagine having the SLaughter Is The Best Medicine truck? Complete with opening door where Joker can unleash slaughter and chaos like he does on the GPD in that scene.

I found truly intriguing that the creative team behind TDK gave the Joker a signature vehicle that FITS into his character, the same way the bat-pod / tumbler are microcosms of Batman's character.

Has anyone found the 5" Harvey Dent/Two Face two-pack yet?

Is this actually confirmed to be a taller BEGINS Batman? Because thats all I was hoping for . . . I mean after all in REAL life and STORY wise the BEGINS suit was the bigger suit than TDK suit. BEGINS suit built for intimidation mode, and all out protection. TDK suit for speed and effeciency. This is the best news ever.

So happy. Any pics to confirm?

Man in the Narrows posted that he bought it,and the Batman figure in the VS set is the exact same figure as the carded one,not bigger at all...

Pretty cool. All you need is a bit of clay or sculpey to make hockey pads and you've got a Brian Douglas figure.

I've seen this with my own eyes and it is the exact same figure. Just like the batman/joker two pack it is exactly the same. Sorry to burst your bubble. I 2 was hoping for slightly bigger figure but no luck here just the same ol crap.

My local WM seems to be the only place not restocking these, so when I was there here a bit ago I snagged the last TDK Batman just incase they don't restock them like evryone else....

Cool Toy Review has high-resolution photos of MM Battle-Damaged Batman, Bank Robber Joker, Harvey Dent, & Two-Face. They say that this wave will be released in Spring 2009, & confirm that Harvey Dent will be the chase figure variant of Two-Face.

Hmm, hope they take that red off the Bank Heist Joker shoes before it goes into production. Otherwise, I can't wait! Wish they'd include his glock and his duffle bag though!

These MM toys really do need some accessories, thank god the Joker came with a knife but Two-Face needs his coin and a gun and I have a feeling we wont get both

Hopefully the coin is Two-Face's piece of "police evidence". I doubt it would be made of metal, but it's the obvious choice for that item. Wouldn't it be cool if Two-Face came with the damaged coin & Harvey came with the pristine one? Again, not very likely, but it's nice to hope for something.

EDIT: I really like how you can see the Joker's eyes underneath the clown mask if you look close enough. That's a nice detail, as opposed to just painting the whole area solid black. And the detail on the shirt is incredible. I just wish they'd fix the colour of his suit & shoes.
