Yes.

There is something a bit off-putting about it. I mean, if something had actually happened or if she had any sort of legitimate piece of evidence in this regard, fine, speak your mind. But "So my friend called me up and reminded me of a few years ago when I almost went up to his room, so he TOTALLY did it!!!" I don't know. On one hand, a person of her stature shining a light on this man and the kinds of things he does is a good thing, but it does feel a bit... odd.

I do think it is possible but there is no way to know for sure whether she's being honest or saying something to get attention.

And yet when I mentioned this before about other women who might be using it to gain some kind of advantage, people around here practically accused me of being a rape-denier and assuming whatever someone claimed about Cosby must be true despite having the same amount of legitimacy and crediblity as this.

There is no way to know who or how many women Cosby did rape but to even hint there might be some fabrications (excepting Chelsea Handler apparently) is booed.

Honest about what, though? That she decided not to enter his room alone? Sure, I believe her. But her experience doesn't pertain to the rape allegations at all. It's irrelevant. I'm pretty sure Cosby didn't rape EVERY woman he was with, so to say "I was almost raped by Cosby!" is stupid and definitely a way to seek attention.

I do agree with you on the lack of skepticism when it comes to rape allegations.

Her entire story could be a lie or it could be true up to the point where he may or may not have attempted to rape her. That is why I'm skeptical of anyone making an allegation as serious as this based solely on their word. Without evidence of something having happened there is no way to verify any of it.

Bill Cosby Copped to Using Quaaludes And Sedatives on Women

Bill Cosby bought Quaaludes and used Benadryl to knock out at least one woman ... something he admitted during a deposition for the sexual assault lawsuit a Temple University employee filed against him.

Cosby gave the shocking testimony in 2005. He eventually settled the case with Andrea Constand for an undisclosed amount of money ... but documents connected to the case were just released today.

During the depo ... Cosby said he had purchased the 'ludes with the intent to give them to women he wanted to have sex with. He also said he had given Constand 3 half-pills of Benadryl.

The AP filed docs asking a court to release the testimony, and Cosby's attorneys tried to have it blocked ... claiming revealing the material would embarrass him.
Of course, Cosby has since been accused of sexual assault by dozens of other women. He has never been criminally charged.

Anyone still defending him is despicable, but the people turning a blind eye to what 40+ women have been saying this whole time and only giving it any consideration once a court document goes public... those people aren't much better.

I get innocent till proven guilty, but that isn't the question here. This isn't a court of law. At some point the numbers were clearly too high.

Jesus... This is just further evidence of how messed up he must be. I mean... You're already famous and wealthy... Hell before "THE COSBY SHOW" he was famous and wealthy.
