Ok, could someone help me out here, cause I'm having trouble remembering. Was Smythe ever a doctor? Or referred to as a Dr in the comics?

Reason being, is in the CC teaser with Electro rigged into that chair he says "Doc." I'm just wondering if Smythe is the doc that he's speaking to in that clip.

Well, it makes it more alike new own idea of a Spider-Man trilogy titled The Goblin Saga

1st movie
> villain: Green Goblin

Ends with Norman's amnesia; forgetting his Goblin persona, that Peter is Spider-Man and the threats he made (killing everyone Peter loved, including Aunt May and Gwen)

2nd movie
> Dr. Octupus

Norman, without his evil side becomes a nice man and good father to Harry which makes Peter struggle with being Spider-Man, because it's continuation might make Norman remember.

3rd movie
> Green Goblin and The Spider-Slayers

Norman remembers, but plays it differently. Instead of going all physical, Norman plays is more mastermind like. We see his more cunning side. He finances Dr. Spencer Smythe into creating the Spider-Slayers (instead of Jameson). In the end, GG kills Gwen and "dies", Smythe also dies by the Norman's hands.

FYI, i have already an idea for the follow up trilogy entitled The Night of the Jackal.


I still say this movie looks extremely mediocre, in fact, lately, all superhero movies do.

Why is everyone here against the possibility of Smythe suiting up and joining the Sinister Six? I'd like to see it be the black armor of his modern appearances but with the hooved feet and shoulder canons of his 90s look. Also additional gadgets.

Doc Ock should lose the bowl cut and use the bald look with white armor since Green Goblin and Vulture are already green. Vulture's flight harness needs to be equal parts hangglider and jetpack.

ok no answer to the question if his father may be the man in the shadows...nevermind its just speculations...
i just hope this whole thing dosen't end up in transformers vs. spider man towards the end. it started so nice with good visual effects and alot of real stunts i really hope they keep it balanced that way and dont turn it into a cgi fest while going on.
