Black Friday thread: Shop Like a Beast!

Don't understand what people are waiting in line for. Everything is available online for Black Friday pricing lol

It is stupidity and I hope the numbers for instore keep going down, and they end this abomination on society.

I shop on Black Friday, but camping out/going at midnight? Hard pass. All the s*** I want is still there at noon. :o

But the stuff you don't want will be all gone. :o

well I live in a small town and both the Walmart and mall are next door to each other. I planned ahead and went to WM for the deal on games and blu rays (lego jurassic world and mad max both on PS4 for 25 each) and a sony wi fi blu ray player for the folks. I was in and out and back at my house by 8pm.

Amazon is having some terrible sales on video games. That Prime Day and now this, Amazon is becoming dead to me.

Otherwise I got Mad Max, Until Dawn, GTA V, and Dishonored Definitive Edition for $60 from BestBuy.

I kinda want to buy Star Wars: The Complete Saga but I am not sure if $85 is good price.

I can't hate on Amazon since their free shipping got my PC parts down from $560 to $520.

Amazon used to be my go to place, but yeah, their sales have been lacking. Although I did manage to get the Arkham Premium Edition for PS4 for just $16 and had I been awake, I could have gotten Tomb Raider PS4 for just $5 digitally.

Who shops at stores anymore? We're not cavemen. :o

i went to 2 walmarts last night after 830 pm and it was like shopping on any other day. all the lines were gone and i got an awesome parking spot

How can you tell if something on Amazon is discounted for Thanksgiving?

you could try camelcamelcamel.com

I don't think you can beat these Best Buy deals. Blu-ray wise at least. I mean 10 dollars for True Detective or Band of Brothers? 6 dollars for Amazing Spider-man 1 and 2?

Go any lower, and Amazon is losing money.

i've definitely picked up some good deals from them already, but surprisingly, walmart in-store is the go-to for 3D blurays this year. they had some other really good deals too. note: some of these are not advertised

Also got these blu-rays:

Planet of the Apes - $5.99
Shaun of the Dead steelbook - $5.00

I got some good deals, especially on Blu-rays, but overall this felt like a very weak Black Friday. Maybe it's because I am not buying a console and a lot of games. Or maybe it's because Amazon stopped caring.

It wasn't even that the sales were bad – well, they were on Amazon – it just seemed like less stuff was on sale. You could hear crickets on Slickdeals for most of the day.

Stop projecting, Pink. :o

Got both Ex Machina and It Follows for less than $5 a piece. Hnnngh.
