How does Blink's powers work? What are those... things she throws that creates the windows?

They're usually listed as "energy javelins" in the comics.

Bryan singer has obviously been playing Portal... and sought whatever random mutant has portal powers from the comics.

This character adds a whole other dynamic to the battle... which i feared would be a generic battle like X3

Blink is using a LOT of Portals, which is awesome:
- Teleporting Warpath and herself
- Escaping from Sentinel
- Teleporting Iceman
- Allowing Bishop to shoot some sentinels
- Colossus Dive

Didn't know much about this character but now I'm really obsessed with her after seeing the trailer. Blink's portal + Iceman's sliding is the best teamwork I've ever seen in a X-men film.

Here's a question:

Has anyone seen Simon Kinberg's interview talking about Blink? I looked everywhere but couldn't really find anything useful. Someone guessed that Blink would get lost at the end of DoFP and thus could be brought back conveniently in Apocalypse. I'm just curious how credible is this saying.

Plus, rumors had it that Hugh Jackman, Peter Dinklage and Fan Bingbing are heading to Singapore for Xmen DoFP red carpet. Hopefully we'll get a change to hear her speak English and settle on whether her line in the trailer was dubbed.

I really hope this isnt the last time we see her, I love seeing her on the big screen. If theres a way to include her in Apocalypse id be happy. it would be a shame to waste such a great character.

ikr? Throwing her in DoPF is like a big shout for the next film. After all Blink gained (most of) her popularity from AoA.

But I've also found something scary...

There are lots of smaller, lesser-known characters you’re introducing here like Sunspot or Blink, is that with an eye towards the future or is it serving a purpose?

It’s interesting to think about what the future of the X-Men world would be, because we now have these two separate timelines...But no, it wasn’t really built for future movies; it was that they serve a narrative purpose within the film. When we meet some of our characters in the future, it tells the story of mutant refugees and so we wanted to populate that with characters that the fans would recognize and potentially would be intriguing enough that they’d want to follow into who knows what- maybe it’s movies, maybe it’s a television show, maybe it’s their own anime, it could go in a lot of different directions these days, there are so many different types of media that it would be cool if a movie that has this many characters could actually take advantage of a different media.

Found a decent Blink makeup tutorial on youtube (with eye tattoo on the correct side). I'm starting to feel that Blink will be cosplayer's favorite: pretty, and easy to pull off.

I am watching Double Xposure (ironically lol) just stared it so I'll let you know.

She's also in Kill Zone which you can easily get here but she's not in it much

I also noticed she's in alot of (if not all but 1 so far) Warpaths scenes/shots releases thus far. And alot of photo pair them up as well (minus the colossus poster)

It was Flash point. Not Kill Zone! lol Sorry about that!
I didnt realize it was her either until I read it up lol.

That would be quite funny if they got paired because of their names lol. But none the less I think they'll become some of my favorite X-men movie characters plus they look cool together lol

The first gif is a Wow moment for me. That's when I get interested in her character.
LOVE their facial expressions on the third one. Warpaths is looking at Blink almost affectionately (but with a slight feeling of despair which only makes it more intense); Blink is her usual composed, cool self, and I really love the way she rolled her eyes. They'll make an awesome buddy system.

Her eyes are bit sleepy without eye makeup but I guess that's the case for a lot of actresses. She's stunning on screen.

Thats a good pic! I didnt realize how big his arms were. I got an e-mail that he trained in JKD from the school where I learned it from for the role so I'm excited to see what he'll bring to the fights.

I'm exciting about his fights too! Plus their teamwork scenes.
Wiki says Fan is also a decent dancer. Hopefully that helps with action.

One more thing in common for Bingbing and Booboo lol.
Blink's X-men design is really unique; heavy makeup, but she pulled it off well.
I have the feeling that Blink is just a teleporting vehicle in DoFP and probably won't do much action; if she gets to return for Apocalypse, maybe she'll become a real bad-ass, using her power to mutilate and kill.

I like her design a lot for this film. It's really awesome! Also, Warpath has my favorite future Male X-men suit.
