Beast was pretty good(the stars and garters quote was cool), especially when in CGI, but he seemed stiff otherwise, and the fur was like a costume I made for Halloween in 1982...Grammar was awesome, but Kurt rocked in X2. He seemed to be real. We got a real look into the character with him, it seemed, AND probably the best action sequence in the whole series in the opening action in the White House. Also, I cannot imagine one of the first students of the school ever suggesting that the school should shut down as Hank did in X3.

I like Nightcrawler. Beast was spot on, but they actually made Nightcrawler a member of the munich circus (which he was) while they made Beast a politician (which he wasn't really)....I know thats kind of a silly reasoning, but otherwise both would be equally spot on. Furthermore Beast did look somewhat sillier than Nightcrawler did on screen.

Both were good. Beast was better. Even most of the people who disliked the movie seem to have liked Grammer's Beast.

personally I think it's short memories coming into play then. Compared to the white house scene, the beast's got nothing close to as cool a scene. I liked Grammar as Beast, mind you, but I think compared to Nightcrawler in the last film, he's just not SO good as Nightcrawler... in the movies...

Nightcrawler was amazing, I love the character, but Beast is just cooler, in my opinion. I've always liked Beast better than Nightcrawler, and the movie is no different.

And even if Mystique was on the list, that wouldn't have changed anything.

I never liked her character, and again, the movies aren't any different.

Though she did have some cool scenes in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, overall, her character just bugs me.

My vote goes to Nightcrawler.

Both characters were spot on in the Movies. Kelsey was Beast, and Alan was Nightcrawler, I can't imagine anyone else playing those parts. But I vote Nightcrawler because I found his make-up a little more convincing than Beast's and his fight in X2 is still one of the best scenes in Marvel Movie history.
