"Blueprints" Season 2: Episode 01 Discussion Thread

I laughed when Martha Connors looked over at her with this strange look.

Hey, a little off topic but does Gwen know Eddie's Venom? I mean, they walked away together and the next time we saw her she was dangling in Venom webs from a balloon.

I've read about this in an interview, and apparently, Gwen doesn't know. This could lead to some great tension if Eddie claimed his job back along with Peter.

i hope they do get more on whats going on with norman's wife.

When did Season 2 start??? What channel? Can someone PM where I can get the torrent? I didn't see it listed.

Maybe she'll become some kind of she-goblin. Like when Bruce Timm created Harley Quinn.

Called it a page back. Emily = Goblin :o

Once the last episode of this series rolls around you'll see, YOU'LL ALL SEE! :cmad:

...

Went a bit overboard didn't I?

It has aired one episode so far, second one tomorrow morning. Currently its airing early in canada only on teletoon channel and will be airing in the states in march on the retooled toon disney channel called disney xd. You can find the episode easily on youtube just search.

Wow i never suspected TSSM being on Disney!! Anyway i saw "blueprints" on youtube. Good episode and i like the fact that peter having girl problem which really is a start for spidey career. Mysterio was good but he exaggerated waaayyy to much but overall it was good for a start.

Does anyone know when it will air? I'm totally out of the news so far.

You can find episode 1 easily on line. Today's episode should get on the web hopefully by later tonight.

I liked how the two guys on the bridge that try to stop Mysterio were taken from the first Spiderman film.

The guy in the film who says something like "you mess with Spidey you mess with New York"

There was the guy with dreds & the trucker type guy with the tire iron.

Nice nod there.

Yea i love all the nods thrown in from the comics, other cartoons, and the films.

Thanks, WH!

*looking for it already*

I find Mysterio most interesting when you get a sense of the mechanics of his individual tricks and illusions and Spider-Man has to beat them in that manner; the "lots and lots of robots" approach was a bit underwhelming. That's a tiny nit; this was a good introduction.

As for the identity of the Master Planner, the Big Man wasn't the Big Man and the Green Goblin wasn't the Green Goblin (provisionally, at least), so I don't know if I'd hang too much on the Master Planner's identity holding true.

The soap opera stuff continues to be fun, though Liz's voice continues to shift between each appearance.

The whole "winterized" aspect of the costume wasn't something that's normally addressed, so that was cute.

The Big Man story is not even half as famous as the Master Planner storyline.

Of course he was the Green Goblin. Would they seriously make Harry the first Goblin and then have Norman follow his example? LOL, of course not.

It was a trick by Norman to take suspicion off himself. We all know it.

so I don't know if I'd hang too much on the Master Planner's identity holding true.

David MacNicol, the voice actor for Doc Ock, did the Master Planner's voice in this episode. Read the cast voice credits at the end.

It's Peter MacNicol, and, so? Multiple voices isn't unheard of.
