You're at SHH. The only typos allowed here are the ones made by Spiderfreddie...:o
Spiderfreddie had fantastic grammar .

That was perfectly played out .

That... or the ending of BB was supposed to happen in the middle of BII... you know, Memento style.

That would be SOOO cool...and BB2 starts in the middle of BB, with Joker back story, and then we get to the rooftop scene...and the sequel springs forth from there...

Why.... flashbacks aren't enough^^^... I just prefer flasbacks... I think the bigger news right now is the new characters... Dent, and the title... but I am sure they will do a great job with the back story hopefully involving Harley... but wouldn'r be upset if she wasn't in there...

They could introduce the Joker as some mundane villain and then turn him into the Joker in the middle of the movie, but Gordon did say "has a taste for the theatrics". To me, that means he's already the Joker...

But I've been wrong before...

all sounds great to me and oh by the way, of course The Prestige is going to blow everybody away :)

I was hoping for no backstory, but other than that, this is all awesome news.

I'd really like for Crane to be caught at some point in the movie and Dent spends a short amount of time questioning him about the Joker and who he is as he was an inmate at Arkham and Crane knows who it is...but isn't telling....

but then again...lol...it sounds like something we could expect from the Riddler....and he drops riddles as to who the Joker is and where he can find him.....

but nobody knows who the Joker really is except a select few...and in between the interrogating parts...there are some flashbacks to his past kind of answering why he's doing certain things....

while Batman is out there trying to find the Joker and Dent is fishing out information from inmates and Batman is fishing out info down in the Narrows....

then they share information...

Exactly what I was thinking...

I don't know why people want to see everything tied up... sure if it was part of the story then great... but why throw it in there for the sake of throwing it in there... in other words... why have Crane in there if CIllian doesn't want to come back... just to see him captured??? That would just eat screen time of other villains... same thing with Dawes... why throw her in there if she isn't part of the story... just stick the new mob boses and maybe Penguin/Black Mask and focus on the Joker/Dent arc... does anyone really disagree with this?

I recall Cillian saying he'd love to come back....

having him caught can be part of the story as he can be questioned that way...

If he was tied with the Joker then ya... but if he ain't... what the hell is the point... an opening sequence of him gettin gcaptured wouldn't do him justice... just make more room for the mobsters or have Batman fight some ordinary thugs at the start if we are soo action deprived

but then we get little to no Gordon for the first half of the movie.

It was implied in that final scene that Gordon and Bats hadn't seen each other since the Ra's incident.

why not have Dent be part of the Scarescorws capture, really show that Dent is out for business, he's going to clean up the town, no one intimadates him.....

If they can tie him into the story it's fine... but they want new villains... a mob boss will be one... a cameo of Penguin... maybe Black mask... now we are talking about five major villains in BB2... with a lot more screen time required than the four villains in BB... it might be too much... just a though though

Sounds good to me. Now that we're approaching the release of The Prestige, the Bats news should be picking up... I can't wait!!!

I'd love to see Scarecrow back. Yes, there will be a mob boss, Penguin will probably make a cameo, and then we've got Joker. They had a great balance in BB and I know it won't be overkill in the sequel either.

I'm just still not too keen on Ledger (I find him to be rather bland). Of course, I place my full trust in Nolan. He won't let me down.

We could still have Gordon action, just no Gordon/Bats interaction until the rooftop scene (and then more from there).

Why is this news shocking this has been reported (the Joker being new and origin being told) a couple of weeks o rmonths after the release of Batman Begins.....????

anyways I doubt they will make the joker sympathetic, they already have harvey dent as the sympathetic villain, we eont care for the Joker.

THEN how did bats get his car back, did Gordon just leave it there with the keys hidden in the tail pipe, or did Gordon just take it home and parked it in his garage....

I think if a Killing Joke kinda story were to be used, it´d be better if we saw signs of his insanity prior to the transformation... His former self in Killing Joke was a little too nice for me to buy he´d turn into such a sadistic and remorseless psychopath.

First No Bettany, and now a Joker backstory? Man I am just striking out when it comes to the Joker :(

That being said this information makes me very very happy.
