The Dark Knight BOF: Harvey Dent Already Cast?

He doesn't fit the quality of actor that Nolan normally chooses, though. I mean, he's crap compared to the likes of Bale, Ledger, Caine, Oldman and Freeman.

Affleck is much better than people give him credit for. He IMO outshines the likes of Diane Lane, Adrien Brody and Bob Hoskins in Hollywoodland.

Why on earth would you believe Law to be a favorite... I think Cusack, Lucas Shreiber, Gyllenhal (heck even Jackman) all have a better chance than Law... let Law kill Superman in that sequel... not Batman's sequel...

Again, when I read BOF's Jett write that the movie was going to get a lot of hype and that not everyone will be happy about the name he heard...

^ This is why I wouldn't be surprised if Law gets the role.....remember what Jett said about the casting of Dent will get plenty of hype and will cause an equal amount of positive and negative reaction amongst us fans. Law would certainly cause that stir.

Actually Stephen LOVES everyone. Shows what you know. :)

Stephen Baldwin is the man. I rooted for him everytime he was on the Career making "Celebrity Mole and Celebrity Mole: Hawaii"

Also he made a great Barney Rubble

The more I think about it though, the more I like Affleck for Harvey Dent.

You know, I actually like that idea. I know he's not popular amongst fanboys, but if he brings his A-game (Chasing Amy, Hollywoodland) then that would be BRILLIANT.

Good call, Norm.

Very true.

I have to give credit where credit is due, and say that Affleck was just downright awesome in Hollywoodland. I was skeptical to say the very least, that he would pull it off. But he turned in a marvelous performance. And I can't say I would be disappointed at all to read that he has been cast as Harvey Dent. Unfortunately, I doubt that is at all likely to happen. But stranger things have happened I suppose. Bottom line, I think Affleck can turn in a great performance as Dent.

Especially under the direction of Nolan.

He was awesome in "The Usual Suspects," too.

Yet none of those actors are comparable to the likes of Caine, Neeson, Freeman, Oldman and Bale. And neither is Affleck.

Neither is Katie Holmes. :o

I can forgive Holmes because she had nice nipples. Affleck, on the other hand, doesn't.

At least to my knowledge. ;)

No - but they are much more respectable than the likes of Holmes or Murphy and correct me if I am wrong but Bob Hoskins and Adrien Brody were both fan favorites for various Bat roles.

Cillian Murphy is a very good actor. He's been in a lot of critical hits and is much more respected than Holmes. And I forgive Holmes because she represented the nipple aspect of Batman Begins. You gotta have nipples in a Batman movie. ;)

I meant to say boobs in retrospect. Of course Affleck has nipples. If he didn't, he'd be weird. But not the ones I like. ;)

I would agree that Murphy > Holmes. But Murphy is not (IMO) in the same catagory as Hoskins, Lane, or Affleck on his A-Game.

And so having them on her meant they didn't have to be on the bat-suit, is that it?

Thank Jesus for Katie Holmes' nipples.

Natalie Portman's Nipples made me enjoy ATOC much more than I normally would of - For the Record.

Thank god it wasn't. :o

Her acting was below-Portman standards, atleast in the last two. I quite enjoyed her in Episode I, of course I quite enjoyed Episode I in the first place - ranking me among the minority.

Greetings, Murphy. I... didn't know.

I just saw the part where Norm said he could see it and posted a picture. It looked like he was suggesting it... as far as I could see. And this thread is WAAAY too long to read all of it. :o

I dunno.....I'm basically on the fence on this one. Farrell, Lucas, Leonardo, Phillipe, and alot of the others I've heard.....they all sound like pretty good choices.
