Booster Gold: The Series?

This is so cool. If they are smart about it they can get it done really well. The future scenes can be handled with CG backgrounds and even throw in Leigon's home base in there as a callback. With shows like Sanctuary (oh so pretty), Eureka, Warehouse 13 (both have that humor I would expect from Booster) it can turn out pretty awesome. Keep it light like Eureka/Warehouse 13, the SFX, sets and such can be influenced by BSG (in the future) and Sanctuary.

Yes, Sanctuary is my favorite thing on Sci-Fi right now.

I desperately want to see him with his own series, so....... Alan Tudyk!!!!

I would love to see a Booster Gold series so I hope everything works out.

I need a Doctor Who/Booster cross-over as soon as this series goes to air.

Oh, wow. Kreisberg also wrote the Booster Gold episode of JLU.

He also wrote an episode of Two and a Half men. True story. :o

Good. So it'll be funny. I don't find thatr show particularly funny (for whats called a comedy) but t hat level of humor in a superhero show would be great.

Bah! I don't think he wrote any episode of 2 and a half men, I only said it because its Sawyer's favorite show.

You're treading dangerous waters, dear. :o

Best be careful. :cmad:

I thought the Smallville episode was pretty crappy (hated what they did to Beetle) but Booster was still awesome in it.

I have been into a few of SyFy's current shows (Eureka, Warehouse 13, Alphas, Being Human) and I think they can do all right in the hour long drama department so I don't think it's necessarily a bad station for a Booster Gold series. I really hope that the showrunners are able to do a worthwhile job here. Having No ordinary Family and Green Lantern on the resume isn't exactly a plus but I will go into it optimistic.

Booster Gold series:
Syfy channel: :down

Irony: Booster Gold gets his own joint on telly before Wonder Woman (post-1978) and Flash

As far as I can tell, Berlanti is just producing. I don't think he'll have anything to do with the writing.

We should get your name changed to Alan. :o

Honestly, people. Put your *****ing aside and realize that this is really the only place this show could conceivably fit in and not get ****-canned six episodes in.

Maybe there is a reason why they were the only channel that said yes ? Syfy does not have the best track record

I disagree....Stargate found a new life there....they got 10 seasons out of SG-1, five out of Stargate Atlantis, I don't like Sanctuary but that is in its 4th or 5th season I think....both Eureka and Warehouse 13 are doing ok, Eureka is wrapping up a 6 season run, and I could see Warehouse going that long....BSG is one of the best dramas on tv in the past 15 years

there have been some misses....Caprica, SG Universe, Painkiller Jane...but overall the network does well with its original programming
