Superman Returns Bosworth nominated for a Razzie WTF?!?

Got it from www.comingsoon.net. It looks like it became a tradition for the Razzies to nominate actresses who look too young for their parts. They did it with Katie Holmes in BB and Jessica Alba in FF. I honestly think they sometimes confuse bad acting with miscasting. I don´t think she´s a bad actress by any means, but such a girly-looking actress should never be cast as a Pulitzer winner journalist with a five year-old son IMO - and I´m a defender of the movie.

Before someone asks, the Razzies are the Golden Raspberry Awards, a mockery of the Oscars that selects the worst of the year.

This is a joke, in no way was her acting bad in the movie, then again, i thought Tom Cruise was excellent in WOTW and he got nominated for a Razzie as well!

Yeah, well, I partially blame that on the whole "people are sick of Tom Cruise" buzz that went around at the time - they did that to Katie Holmes too, and I didn´t think she was bad in BB. But it looks like a trend with the Razzies to nominate girly-looking actresses playing established professional women - even though Katie at least was just an assistent DA.

Oh maybe WB cares at a superficial level. Just more continuing bad publicity for SR. The slow drip, drip.

Kate is not a bad actress - much better than Routh is an actor - but she was mis-cast in the role of Lois Lane and that is what the nomination is about - worst Lois Lane. I'd have to agree with that.

SR has really done nothing positive for Bosworth's career and may have hurt it some. Certainly it did not turn her into the big star folks thought it would prior to release of the film.

I'd like to know in her heart of hearts if she would just as soon get out of her contract to do a second film if they end up doing one. Her comments in EW did not sound too complimentary to the experience.

Meh, it's the Razzies. They always have to pick on people who gave supposedly bad performances. Thing is, although Bosworth is obviously very young (hell she's my age!), and looks young, she has a maturity that's beyond her years. That's why I was able to buy her as a mother and a long time journalist.

Yeah..I'm sure it really effected Fox when Halle got the nod for a Razzie for Catwoman. They were nervous the whole X-Men franchise would be in limbo because of this. They were so afraid it would transfer over from WB to them. They still live in fear. Drip. Drop. Drip. Drop.
