Yeah, I'm a pretty big detractor of the movie but it hardly ranks up there with the likes of Little Man, Date Movie, and Basic Instinct 2.

Kate Bosworth was absolutely horrific as Lois Lane. She was for starters way too young to be plausible as a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and mother to a five year old boy (did she get knocked up in high school). Also, she and Brandon Routh absolutely had little to no chemistry unlike Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder or Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher. Bosworth also didn't carry a whole lot of spunkiness and liveliness. She came across as a tired shrew.
