So her sneaking her son with her onto Lex Luthor's yacht and putting him in danger for the sake of TEH $uper b0y plot point is good writing??? Ooookaaaay. And her going into a relationship so quickly Richard is under the impression that the kid is his. I am honestly getting sick of talking about the whole kid situation it just sickens me.

Thank You. Lets not forget that Lois left her cell phone in the car too, when she just finished looking at it!!! It was very much in character to go onto that yacht and investigate it(if she was alone) but inexcusable to bring Jason along with her. Lets also not forget Lois being such a beyotch towards Clark and that she lied to Richard when he asked her if she loved Superman. Unless, she slept with Superman without loving him. Also, did she need to kiss Superman on the lips when she is still in a relationship with Richard and Jason is in the room? Poor job of writing the character.

Some people here make a big deal out of everything in the movie, like Superman and Lois are supposed to be Amish or something. When a woman is dumped by a man she loves, it´s a very fragile moment, some women (and men) often jump right off into another relationship to fill the void (anyone ever heard of rebound?). How many men or women never lie to their current boyfriend/girlfriend about old flames? When was Lois ever particularly nice to Clark, she wasn´t exactly his best friend in STM or in Superman II till she suspects he´s Superman.

You do realize it is illegal to leave your child in a car by themselves, don't you? And besides, she didn't know that she was putting him in danger until she found out it was Lex Luthor's yacht.

I'm not asking for her to be his best friend but in Superman 1 and Superman 2 she just seemed friendlier to Clark, not so aloof towards him like in SR. I like how in Superman 2, she even gave advice to Clark on how to carry himself.

And besides, no Jason on the boat means no Jason in danger. No Jason in danger means we don't find out that he's Superman's son. That's a pretty damn important plot point.

Exactly, i leave my cell in the car all the time after just using it because i'm so used to it just being in my pocket i subconsciously think it is there, plus, Lois was distracted by the music coming from the boat. And double plus i'm sure she didnt want her phone going off while she was talking to the house owners, which she assumed she would be doing "Just gotta ask these people a couple of questions and then we can go."

- It´s not clear, but sometimes women take several weeks to find out they are pregnant, it wasn´t necessarily the other day or the other week.

- It´s human, it´s what real people do. Plus, at that point she thought that Superman was a thing of the past, so there was no point in pissing off her fiancee, who was visibly acting jealous.

- In the first, Superman asks her what Clark is and she says, "he´s nothing", it´s even said in a making of for STM that she responds to Clark in a much meaner and tougher way than to Supes.

Legitimate defense is not murder. The man was going to kill his mother and the kid had an instinctive defensive reaction, he didn´t even know what he was doing - or that he could do that. Even a Texas court wouldn´t send him to jail... Sure her taking the kid along is a plot convenience, but I can find plot conveniences like that in every superhero movie - how come Bruce found all the equipment he would need at his disposal in Wayne Enterprises?

Yeah i remember that, it was quite funny. Halle is a good sport and gets too much stick on these boards sometimes. Though i do think she should mention her scouse roots more!

Halle is hot as hell, a fine actress and seems to be quite the lovable person, would I have cast her as Storm? No, probably not, and doing Catwoman was a big mistake for her career, but let´s not also forget that she has often demanded Storm to be a more active character in the movies, and not just for vanity, but because that´s how she is in the comics.

Again, he killed a man who was trying to kill his mother. It's survival, nothing more. Besides, do you honestly think Jason knew his own strength at that point? Up to that point he was an asthmatic weakling. He discovered his strength by saving his mother from DEATH.

Yeah putting her son in danger for a story is good writing. You would think a Pulitzer Prize winner would have more sense. I mean she doesn't have any friends or relatives to leave the kid with? She only brought the kid because the writers needed the kid to "reveal the big secret". Poorly done period. Batman Begins is my favorite film but if Holmes character had a kid and she brought him to the Narrows with her to give Gordon the antidote I would be pissed the same way. It is stupid.
