Hello everyone. I read plenty of things released last week, but everything was overshadowed by one simple fact: "Ultimates 3 #1" SUCKED. Woo, we look more cartoonish! Hey, Jan apparently isn't Asian! Suddenly Valkyrie has powers and is shtupping Thor! Omg Pietro and Wanda are seriously incestuous and it's not just strongly implied anymore but wait Wanda's dead!

Dammit, I miss Millar and his long-delayed, but still awesome comic.

Btw, am I the only one (sorry if this has been discussed already) who caught something rather Donald Blake-y about the doctor at the end?

You aren't the only one who complained about that but I don't get it. Obviously something has happened. I assume it will be revealed later on.

I'm about a quarter into Essential FF Vol.1.Even without the color,these are great reads.Skrulls,Namor/Doom team up and Puppet Master all in 5 to 6 issues.So far so good.95 issues left!

I did the same thing with Thor #1,called it crap without actually reading it,went back 3 months later and thought it was great.

I'm not calling U3 the second coming,but I've read far worse comics than this.

Even if you flip through it, so long as you flip to that last page and actually comprehend what just happened, it was awesome. I loved the almost feverish look Coipel put on Blake's face when he's got the cane raised, too.
