Thought:

Stormwatch - I didn't know this was going to be the last issue. The art hasn't been good since the original artist left but it was still a book I looked forward to.

Black Adam - Hawkman taking several punches from Adam was pretty ridiculous. Unless his strength has been reallyreallyreally reduced due to the whole "Isis-power" thing.

Nova - Ko-rel really died. Huh. Guess I'm so used to fake outs/resurrections that I assumed she'd be back this very issue.

I wouldn't trust Gamora one bit. I wouldn't really trust Drax, either, but I'd make him a Centurion just to see how badass that would be.

About as badass as if Gamora were a Centurion. They're basically the male and female version of each other at this point.

I always wanted Frankie Raye to come back and start dating Rich. Nova and Nova, sittin' in a tree, etc., etc.

I'm almost positive there was a scene where he actually used it. I mean Richie over here gets rocked at least once every two issues it seems.

Yeah, he gets his ass kicked a lot. Probably more now that he's down to 17% of the Nova Force, too.

I never really get tired of declaring that Whedon writes some of the very best dialogue and characterization of any person alive, mostly because I get proven right like every single day.

If by "every single day" you mean "Maybe once every three or four months or whenever Joss Whedon feels like getting around to actually writing a comic," then yes, that is correct.
