Pham's work isn't bad at all. I just don't think he's the right fit for the tone of the book. Pablo's work is more suited.

Yeah, I'm not saying the guy is Liefeld bad, but everyone I know who reads X-Factor has not been enjoying this guy's art at all.

Yeah, nice. We're not talking about the Kubert brothers though are we? Don't try to deflect the argument Corp. Pham is crap, end of story. There's not a single person on here and in the X-Factor thread that likes that guy's art on this book.
Trotting out other people who have aesthetic taste as poor as your own isn't much of an argument either. PJ and I agree that Pham ain't so bad and we have better taste in art than you do, so we win and you lose. :oldrazz:

Such is the story of Darth's life.

PJ also thinks Irredeemable Ant-Man is a good book. And you think Daredevil is lame. We can't be right all the time.:o

Neither of those have anything to do with art, so they're irrelevant. We still win and you still lose.

Not really. Khoi Pham is an average artist at best. We're seriously not going to go into a taste contest over Khoi ****ing Pham.

I never said he was phenomenal or anything. I said he was a "solid artist." He's perhaps not the best artist for X-Factor, and I agree that Raimondi fits the tone and mood of the book a lot better, but it's not like Pham is running the book into the ground the way you seemed to be implying.

Hyperbole dude. Hyperbole.:whatever:

I'll hyperbolize your face! :cmad:

Anyway, Pham's art hasn't distracted me from enjoying PAD's stories in X-Factor while he's been penciling, which is really the dividing line between a decent artist and a bad one for me.

I liked Pham a lot on Black Panther.

I could see him working well on BP. I loved Coipel's BP in the Avengers' Red Zone arc, and like I said, Pham strikes me as a Coipel-Lite.

Thats because PAD is just that good.:o

I agree, his art is like a really good Ramos/Bachalo hybrid in NW now.
For reals.

So...Yay or nay on Paco Medina's work?
Kind of a "nyeh" for his pre-NW work. He is doing very well on New Warriors, though.

I guess you could look at it either way. Ringo and Bachalo have relatively similar styles anyway.
