FF2 is done guys.![]()
Even if the O.W. of Ratatouille is not great, it will have fantastic legs, but the saddest thing is that FF2 is going to be destroyed by Transformers.
I saw it on Thursdray, and, believe me, it is simply incredible, IMO it will be definitely the blockbuster of the Summer.
If the movie don't cross the 140m mark, thanks to the international box office and the other revenues, at FOX they still have a profitable movie (but far less than the first one), but they could think that the FF2 budget is too high.
This is the main problem: do you think that it is possible to do a good sequel (with better action, better sfxs) with less than $130m?
Oh and by the way...FF3 is on the way!

Common sense would tell you that though.![]()

From Moviehole ?That site has been pretty wrong in the past with their scoops from 'insiders'. Let's wait until one of the producers or Fox says something before celebrating.Oh and by the way...FF3 is on the way!

I have a strong feeling you're about to be proven wrong carp.Once the fanboys get their fill it will tank. It has no appeal to anyone else. HP will do a # on the robots. 9 days it has to make it, and it will. The fanboys will see to that. After that it is a crapshoot.
It's not just TF fanboys that are (and will be) gushing about this movie."₤" 7,914,450Wroung.

When it comes to getting a sequel, it's not the size of the gross that matters; it's the ratio between the gross and the budget. It's no surprise that TMNT is looking good to get a sequel. It grossed $ 92.247 mil worldwide against a $ 34 mil production budget. That's a ratio of 2.71 - enough to make a sequel a strong likelihood.TMNT barely made a peep at the box office and yet the odds of a sequel are in their favor.
If FF2 does $135-140m in the US and crosses the 300m mark ww, it can be considered a success. If they are planning a sequel without increasing the budget, FF3 could be considered a lock.
Reguarding Transformers, don't understimate it. IMO it can be the surprise of the year and the new ID4. I wouldn't bet on the fact that HP will beat it.
I hope Transformers is good, because I feel very connected to them, since they were created durring us generation X'ers childhood.
I am skeptical about it being a Michael Bay movie. I remember when the Island came out which was a great film in concept, but totally flawed in it's execution.
The international numbers are updated once a week. We'll get the next update tomorrow.is it just me but have you guys and gals noticed that the international box office for this film is 5 days behind on
