Brainiac's return?

I'm not sure it'd be Brainiac, although I would love it.

James Marsters has recurring roles on Torchwood and Criminal Minds right now.

Maybe later on in the season...

that's what i thought. He'd be a good villian to end the show.

But he can split himself into several copies...so scheduling shouldn't be an issue. ;)

You and the rest of the gals just want to have a Tom clone love slave all to yourselves.:ninja:

Since I loved Brainiac so much, and because of my James Marsters-bias from the Buffyverse, I'd LOVE to see more Brainiac.

I loved Clark's Line to Zod: "My father sends his regards." It was the first time that you saw Clark truly accepting his heritage. I'm excited for Season 7, mostly because seeing Tom play Bizarro over (presumably) several episodes will be an interesting twist.

He's already been put on probation. So, he'll just have to be careful when he comes back.:woot:

actually I changed it to a banning. He's not coming back for awhile

The very nature of Brainiac's character could imply that he'd return with any face he so chooses. So bringing the character back, doesnt necessarily mean that they have to bring back James Marsters. Awesome as that would be.

I know I want Brainiac back more than anyone could possibly think, but there are a few more villains that could possibly be the one they're referring to:

Morgan Edge (It's SV, people can more than likely come back from that LOL)
Mxyzlptlk (I know he was only in one other episode, but yeah, it could be him)
Zod (the most likely of the returning villains, other than Brainiac. I could definately see this happening)

In a recent podcast interview Miles Millar revealed that Clark and Lex would have to work together in this season to stop and old adversary. As soon as i heard this i thought Brainiac. Was it the same for you?

How do you think he'll return? And what threat will he bring?

Could also be referring to bizarro at this point. Considering both Lex and Clark were after the phantom. Doubt he'd survive this long, though.

hes only in one torchwood episode.

Oh, I thought it was recurring... I never watch that show, if you didn't notice...

;)

As for the Without a Trace, it sounds like that role might turn into a regular one so they'd have to be very creative with the scheduling to get him back.

True... they could use that skill of his to minimize his role or eliminate the need for him to appear altogether.

Although, I do like the idea of Trent Ford coming back. I liked Smallville's take on Mxy.

I'm hoping for Brainiac as well but I would love for Zod to return in a proper way. I would love them to get Gerard Christopher (Superboy) to play him...

For some reason I'm thinking the old adversary is Lionel. I love being publicly wrong though.

No, cos, Lionel is channeling Jor-El now. Unless, its going to be what they forshadowed in Reunion with Lionel dying.

:D i only saw a few episodes. The sex monster in episode 2 killed it for me but i did see the finale. It starts in the US soon on BBC america.

Yeah, they did over do with with the sex. We get it Captain Jack is horny stop bragging about it.

If you like Dr Who it is a must. The pay off at the end of DR WHO means more if you watched Tourchwood. WARNING SPOILER

Jack = Face of Boe

Ahhh it is good to find another watcher of the show. It's hard given that the show is UK based to spread the word over to the US. Even if the main lead is American! lol

The Doctor isn't american and John Barrowman is apparently scottish.

I was thinking some more about this, and I bet that the "old foe" is whatever character Dean Cain is playing.

The "old foe" could just be referring to someone that's been around a long, long time.
