Arrow Brandon Routh IS Ray Palmer/The Atom

I personally don't feel everyone needs to be a democrat to be on the good side of politics. Cain is a conservative, so what? Big deal. His view is that some people abuse welfare and shouldn't use it as a way to avoid work. Is this pc to most people, especially those that lean democrat? No. It's his view. This does not make him a bad person.

No, just hugely ignorant.

Yeah, I guess that's it. He may not be a bad guy but he is hugely ignorant. Although I would argue that there's a good chance anyone who hangs out with the sexists and racists at Fox News probably is a bad person. Cain also endorsed Rick Perry for president, which also shows blatant ignorance and/or a lack of concern about any of the real issues facing the U.S.

When worlds collide.

Comedian Dane Cook and actors Brandon Routh ("Superman Returns"), Caity Lotz ("Arrow"), Ben Feldman ("Mad Men"), Tom Cavanagh ("Flash") and Grant Bowler ("Lost") have joined the sci-fi feature "400 Days" for New Artists Alliance and XLrator Media.
Matt Osterman ("Ghost From The Machine") helms the psychological thriller which centers on four astronauts sent on a simulated mission to a distant planet to test the psychological effects of deep space travel.
Locked away for thirteen months, the crew's mental state begins to deteriorate when they lose all communication with the outside. Forced to exit the ship, they discover the mission may not have been a simulation after all.
Filming has just begun.

I pity Routh and Lotz. They have to endure the sheer unadulterated terror that is Dane Cook.

How does Dane Cook still keep getting acting work? Does anyone out there actually like him anymore?

Believe it or not, Cook actually does have a lot of fans, else he would not be getting any work. Most producers are not going to hire an actor for a relatively high profile part like this who has no following.

Does anyone think they'll introduce him and leave him as Palmer for his appearances in 'Arrow' and then introduce him as Atom in 'Flash'?

Doubtful. Would make absolutely zero sense for that to happen. Especially since it is hinted in his write up that he is using the QC's Applied Sciences to work on what ultimately makes him The Atom.

Palmer’s plans for Queen Consolidated’s Applied Sciences Division will be shrouded in mystery.

Haven't any interest in the last two seasons of Arrow but Routh is probably the only reason I'll be checking out next season.

I just hope that they have a better idea on how to use Routh and his character for the episodes that he's in all the way through as opposed to how the producers handled using Isabel's character, where they even admitted that they weren't sure as to whether she should even be a good or bad character midway into the season, hence why she would only sporadically appear every now and then mid-season.

I cannot wait to see more of Brandon Routh on this show. I thought he was excellent in this season premiere.

He was 1000000000x better and more interesting than he was in the whole of SReturns...

Truth. Though I will say, I always thought Routh did a fine job in SR, the script just wasn't very interesting.

But damn, he really did steal the show didn't he? I can't wait for him to eventually "suit up." Anyone think he might be the potential third character they're thinking of doing another spinoff for?

I hope so. I wrote an article about wanting an Atom movie a few years ago. A tv show would be even better. I'm happy for Routh. I'm of the few who enjoyed SR but I agree he got a raw deal. I wonder how he would have been in a Snyder style origin flick? Make no mistake though; I am very happy with HC in the role now.

we can hope Palmer and Oliver become good friends........

Well he shouldn't be far off since it's slowly becoming a new trend for Oliver to befriend future costumed heroes only after they've become obstacles for Oliver when it comes to his affections for Felicity.lol

First Barry, now Roy...I won't be surprised if Hal Jordan ends up having a thing for Felicity first if he's ever introduced onto the series before he suits up as GL.lol

I can imagine the GL power ring going "Ehh well he's not exactly THE most fearless guy in this sector... but he did bang that chick Felicity before Oliver got to hit it.

Aahh what the hell, up top !"

Routh was great. Hope we get to see more sci-fi stuff from him, and his motivations that eventually lead to him becoming the Atom. His character has a lot of potential at this point, and so does Routh.
