Yeah it kind of looks like the colors that Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Mar-vell had on his outfit. So I'm guessing the colors it's Kree-inspired.

I'm digging the suit. The blue/green color scheme is certainly different from the blue/red from the comics (the most popular ones, at least) but it looks good. Maybe it's not her final suit on the film. Maybe they chose that because so many main heroes already use those colors (Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor). In any case, the design itself looks very nice and accurate.

This is what I'm hoping. If we move to red and blue later then I'll be glad that they tried Kree military or whatever this is first.

It could also explain where she's been since the 90's, and why they haven't mentioned her in the MCU yet. She ends up out in space as an officer in the Kree military.

That's the biggest reason why I think it's not the final look. Besides the fact that it's not the colors of her most recent costume the concept art is in the blue/red classic scheme. Also... No sash and the sash or something like it was also in the concept art if I remember correctly.

It's a good look but I wish they included the sash somehow. I feel like, as impractical as it is, the sash really speaks to the homosexual in me.

Still, I think it might be like a mark 1 look she wears when she just gets her powers and she gets a new look when mar-vell kicks it

She needs to run into someone's arms and then they can lift her above their head while she assumes a flying position.

I think everyone needs that at least once

Another thing that nobody's mentioned yet but im really glad that she's not rocking that whole Mohawk look in the comics.

Her hairstyle looks great as Captain Marvel.

I've seen some people saying that the hairstyle she's sporting in those pictures is called, um, "the Rachel", and that it was very popular in the '90s. If that is true then I doubt she'll keep it for long.

Yep, the sash was indeed in the concept art. So don't give up hope, sash fans!

A part of me has to wonder if Tony Stark will make her new suit like he did for Cap and Spidey, and just keep some of these Kree design elements as an homage.
