Captain Marvel Brie Larson is Captain Marvel!

It's more or less of what everyone wanted.

Not a big fan of the outfit, looks very busy & over designed. Very similar to Ant-Man/Wasps general outfit as well with a leather/plastic/rubber elements which I'm not a big fan off for this character.

I was hoping that they'd go for something far cleaner & non-leather like Captain America's outfit from the initial Avengers movie -

But that was like straight-up cloth! This is a space outfit. You can't use cloth in space! :p

Looks like she's got a bit of battle damage on her uni.

Noticed that too. Def been getting some wear. And she looks flawless!

I imagine her arrival in IW4, perhaps flying like a bat out of Hell and Iron Man flies up to investigate, just to see this blonde floating in the air right in front of him.

Glad for that, as it means she won't just be getting the real costume at the very end, which, I'll be honest, I was kind of suspecting would be the case since A4 was gonna be out so soon after and it would get plenty of play there.

I love the suit. My only nitpick is that the blue is too light. Wish it was darker like Black Dwarf's 'Captain Marvel colored sash' was in Infinity War.

Cap's suit in TA1 always looked like would never stand up in battle, which is why I was happy they made his suit a little bit sturdier looking for his follow-up appearances. CM's suit needs to feel like it could possibly withstand her powers and the different environments she'd be traversing through.

She'll be fine, she can take it, it's barely cold in space at all from what I hear. :D

I don't think any of Cap's outfits in the MCU really look like they can take a pasting as they aren't armour, I think the biggest difference between them all was that his Avengers outfit looked like it was just off the rack, brand spanking new, the rest of them looked by the time we saw them on screen, a bit beat up & borderline dirty.. which by the end of TA1 that suit was.

Brighter colors would have been nice, but that's not unique to this, all the recent Cap suits look pretty washed-out and dull too, seems more a Marvel thing than this specifically.

Still, it's pretty damn faithful and she looks awesome.

Couldn’t have asked for much more from the costume, maybe just the sash. I’m surprised how much I love the Kree one too.

I love her voice in this. There's a vulnerability to it which is nice. I was worried she'd try to sound tough and direct, just to prove she's a strong woman.

I'm glad we didn't get someone like Katee Sackhoff who would have been boring in this role.

Yeah, liking it so far.

A little surprised she's this brooding, but hey, it's all context. If she's an amnesiac to begin with, that makes total sense.

That Blockbuster video sequence brought memories back. Lol. I'm really digging the 90s angle. I really don't know anything at all about the character ,so the mystery angle of the trailer works for someone like me and has me intrigued.

Yeah, my first gut reaction to the Blockbuster thing was a little "here we go - all the cultural references are gonna be pretty blunt & on-the-nose", but that faded really quickly.

It's a smart way to go about it marketing/trailer wise, people get it immediately without having to make an overt big deal of it being in the 90s. Not sure why the whole exterior needed to (seemingly, anyway) be digital, but whatever, smallfry nitpick.

Cool memories, feels like yesterday these places weren't butts-of-jokes obsolete.

She looks great in the Kree suit in the trailer. Hope we see more of her in the traditional suit next time.

Yep. There was something mysterious about the trailer that really caught my attention immediately, it feels like it will be a pretty dark and intense movie.

I loved that in the trailer. I mean we haven't heard much from her yet but she sounds strong without doing some sort of a tough-girl voice. Brie's going to be perfect .

I really liked how they montaged her falling down at different stages in her life but then getting up each time.

Yeah, I'm actually really looking forward to those childhood flashbacks. I feel like this is the first time we're really gonna get inside the head of one our Marvel heroines and see what makes her tick. With Fleck and Boden at the helm and of course Brie in the lead, I just think we're in for a fully fleshed out, 3-dimensional character/performance, and I can't wait.

I know some people didn't like the trailer because it lacked any noticeable "Wow" factor but I like that they showcased her character instead of going for the easy action shots. The mysterious nature of her origins is more intriguing than any action shot at this point.

She is perfection. She looks so determined, I got a little frightened! Feels like a wonderful new era of marvel about to begin

Yeah, the mystery of her origins is more of a hook for me than anything I saw in the Doc Strange or BP teaser trailers.

Not sure I'd expect anything too substantial from the childhood flashbacks. It's probably a little longer than Quill as a kid, but probably won't be as much screentime as skinny-Steve in the 40s or anything. Will be cool to see though.
