The Dark Knight Rises Bruce Wayne's real face behind the mask. The mentally sick and the freak.

I really wish he had. He woud look scary and weird.

Paint your eyes takes five seconds in a rush. :woot: Put two fingers full of black paint, close your eyes, apply quickly over, open your eyes, done. :oldrazz:

We all know Batman applies his face make up on in the car while driving out of the Batcave :cwink:

I'm more curious if Bruce Wayne has an uneven face tan when he takes off his mask specially now that he's fighting in broad daylight. :o

Bane will be comparing mask-suntans with him after the sewer smack down.

As far as how they'll deal with the bruising from Bane, Bruce still has Gotham believe he's reckless and carefree, so explaining Bruce's injuries wouldn't be a problem at all.

i have a feeling bruce is going to be exposed to the world as batman. bane has no problem exposing dent to the public, but decides to keep batman's identity to himself? i don't think so.

and for the record, bane definitely does know bruce is batman. he's driving around three of wayne tech's tumblers! during the teaser, you see bane climbing the well outside wayne manor. the fight at the end of the teaser is almost certainly inside the batcave too.

In Goyer's original BB script, he made a point of having Bruce paint around his eyes. Bruce had accidentally left on the raccoon eyes when he came up from the Batcave for his birthday party and Alfred had to remind him. So I guess it's not completely outside the realm of possibilities, but Nolan DID cut that part out, after all.

So, you're saying that it is completely outside the realm of possibilities.

Since when do we know Bane is climbing out of the well outside Wayne Manor? The more plausible assumption is that scene is him climbing out of that hole in India.

more plausible like the batpod doesn't come out of the tumbler?:woot:

the well looks almost identical to the one in batman begins. the cgi hole in the ground in india (if that's what you are referring to) was about 10 times the width of the well bane is climbing out of in the teaser.

It doesn't look identical at all. Looks completely different.

well we can agree to disagree, but imo that's going to be bane climbing out of the batcave after he's just beaten the **** out of bruce. if i'm wrong, fine. but i don't think i am.

The hole in the teaser is easily twice as large as the one leading to the Batcave.

eh if you're referring to the shot of Bane climbing out of the well in the teaser it looks like a young kid (Bane), and he is wearing ragged clothes. not his militia gear. I will bet anything that shot of him is apart of his backstory, not after he breaks the bat.. that doesn't make much sense..

I think that's just a shadow, cause look at these 2 - and one with Batman.

I don't get it. Why does the Batsuit look so much better this time around? Granted, the crumpling on the legs is still unfortunate but I'm just finding my critiques of the suit to be much less noticeable this time around. Did they make minor adjustments? Is it the angles of the spy photos? Is it just Bale filling out the suit and the cowl better? It just seems to look better. Then again, awkward angles like those in the interrogation room scene went a long way to making it look not so nice?

Sorry, a little off-topic but this picture of Bale in the suit got me thinking.

I think it's this. He looks a little bulkier in the suit this time around.

Also this thread brings up a big issue in these movies: We need more maskless Batman! :awesome:

In Begins we only got maskless Batman from behind(which was a cool shot though). In Dark Knight we got maskless Batman from the side, but he didn't have his cape on. I want a full front shot of maskless Batman, cape and all!

This is sooo deep, bro. Definitely deserves it's own thread.

That's funny-I think sarcasm is always the answer. But seriously, I think the cowl should come off and then Bruce will roll over on the ground and vomit profusely before you can see the raccoon eyes.

are you counting the scene where Bruce is holding his mask overlooking the city in his penthouse after Rachel's death too? I thought that was a pretty neat scene

Yes, that's why I mentioned it above. :) I said in Dark Knight we only saw him from the side. In that scene we only see him from the side and he's not wearing his cape, and he's sitting down. So it's not as epic as maskless Batman should be!

Hopefully in TDKR we get an epic fight of maskless Batman vs Bane.

ah got it. I thought you were referring to when he was in Hong Kong and he was briefly without his mask on top of the building.

I like the Batsuit. I've liked all the batsuits in these Nolan films.

I really don't want Bruce exposed as Batman, I think Bane exposes the truth on Dent to cause mayhem, but what purpose does it serve him to expose Bruce? I know this is to be the end, but I'm really hoping the secret identity is kept from Gotham. Maybe it's the fanboy in me that wants Batman to still be Batman at the end.

No he needs to keep the mask on. Thats the last thing we need is Spider-Man 2 all over again where he takes his mask off like 10 times in the last hour.

although i agree that i don't want him to be exposed to the world, right now i think it will happen. you gotta ask why would bane keep it a secret? it would cause problems for batman if everyone knew who he was. problems for batman = good for bane.

remember that shot in the teaser of bale training in what appears to be a prison? perhaps once he's revealed as batman, he gets arrested for the murder of harvey dent. just throwing it out there.

You see his face briefly before he puts the mask on before the jump in Hong Kong. No eye makeup.
