Burn Notice

Jesse finds out Mike burned him, they're not buddy-buddy enough to let it slide, and Sam reaches him first. Mike saved Sam's ass from the commando guy (can't remember his name), I wouldn't mind seeing Sam do the same for Mike.

Seems Jeffrey's doing something for the Teen Choice Awards since he's nominated. He tweeted:

Upcoming ACTION ep. In keeping with my Teen Choce Nomination :-p

Last night's episode kicked ass. I'm now convinced that even if Mike hadn't accidently burned Jesse , he would've ended up getting himself burned for being so stupid and impulsive. I bet Sam ends up killing Jesse when Jesse finds out Mike burned him.

Kind of felt bad for the mobster. The guy took Sam's story to heart. He had an awesome ending too.

I felt sorry for that guy too. It proves Jesse is bad luck too. I don't recall any of their other missions f****** up that badly like it did last night.

Definitely looking foward to how Jesse finding out Mike burned him will play out.

Entertaining episode this week, loved the extra Chuck Finlay we got. :woot:

Best episode yet of the new season, dug the "cobra" banter.

Chuck Findley is always welcome. :hehe:

Jesse is certainly starting to prove almost as much of a liability as an asset. He's a real idiot when it comes to the missions sometimes. I mean, really, you just don't share actual personal information like Sam's war story with a mark. It's an unwritten rule.

Jesse's no worse a character, nor more a liability, than any classic "rookie" character from (mostly) movies: Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon, Harry Callahan's younger partner in Dirty Harry, and the young kid in Magnificent Seven, for example.

The veteran/rookie combo and theme is what they're doing with this, and that's why Jesse's all guts and fire. Assumedly he'll learn, unless they twist it a different way.

I know, I was just pointing out that it's becoming a problem. His "quick thinking" of inserting Sam's real war story into the mission wound up jeopardizing the mission because it unlocked the mafioso's hero streak when the plan relied on his being the man of ill repute he'd proven himself to be already. I hope the loose cannon subplot comes to a head soon because they've portrayed Mike for 4 seasons now as too much of a professional to tolerate that kind of stuff for long.

Certainly, except that Mike's guilt over the entire thing will cloud his judgment.

As cold as he can be, he isn't when it's something there's personal investment in - in this case guilt, but we've seen him several times pursue a specific goal that isn't the smartest move.

Has to be posted again....

Also, Happy Birthday to Bruce. :awesome:

Why was Mike so worried about getting caught by the cops ? Can't his new employers get him out ?

Michael clearly wasn't worried. about himself. Thus his snide attitude with the cop at the end. Sam couldn't get out of it though nor could he his friend.

That's true , but Sam has friends in the FBI and the police department. Fi could also free him with all those bombs she has.

I don't think Sam's FBI contacts could get him out of taking a building of hostages, nor do I think Sam and Fi want to be felons who broke out of prison and spend a life on the run.

anyone else think the guys Jessie was after are the guys michael is working for. Basically they used michael to get jessie burned
