Same here bud. Got about 6 more to go though.

Hard for me to believe the movie is as bad as the critics are saying. Just don't want to. :csad:

People who have seen the movie, were the cameos at least really awesome? no spoilers, I know. Basically a yes/no answer would be cool.

I got 12 hrs to go. So far most of the people who's opinion aligns with mine most of the time on the forums have liked the movie, a lot, so I'm still hopeful.

Don't get in wanting to feel any particular way. Watch the movie as fairly as you can, because in the end, it's just a movie. Good or bad, this isn't going to change the trajectory of your life most likely. Try to shed any preconceived notions, good or bad.

I liked the cameos a lot. Didn't distract from the movie for me. One could've been shorter, but that's about it.

Worst case scenario: this movie has enough badassery from the Trinity to warrant the price of the admission ticket.

Watched BvS. Content was incredible. Gal, whenever she was on screen, gave me a heart-pounding feeling. Her appearance in warrior-mode brought massive cheers from my audience, and also during certain other cameos. And a standing ovation when the movie ended.

The only thing: The movie editing wasn't up to par. I feel if it was edited better, we'd have an even more enjoyable experience.

The editing was strange in parts, but still loved it.

I'm so confused. How can there be so many reports of standing ovations if the movie is getting ripped to shreds by critics? Seeing the movie at 6:30, I'm trying to be excited but its hard with all the bad reports so these kinds give me a glimmer of hope lol

They are called critics for a reason. They are critical about everything, they dissect everything. They have higher standards to meet.

On the other hand, most people just want to have a good time and be "blown away". This movie is made for fans not critics. We don't yet know how the general audience will react.

Because people like to exaggerate to prove a point. Or lie for attention (i.e. "studio execs gave it a standing ovation at a test screening")

Wait how do we know that was a lie?

The studio exec thing? Because studio execs don't do that. Ask anyone who has ever been at a test screening with them. They're on their phones most of the time.

I don't even remember where that report came from. But studio execs have done that. I've been to one and witnessed it myself. The higher ups at my company who go to all of the screenings have experienced instances as well. Although it is pretty rare from what I've gathered.

Still crying.

Too bad it could have been so much more. But it doesn't deserve the hate. It's really cool.

I will never understand people's obsession to prove something did or didn't happen when they can't possibly actually prove it.

indeed.

i have a theory. could it be the american hates it but the world loves it?

I've never seen it, never heard of it. And recounting these "reports" to some execs I've worked with makes them laugh. At premieres? Absolutely. Any screening where there will be reports to the public? Sure. But advance screenings where the execs are seeing if the director screwed the pooch as have been reported for BvS, MOS and TDKR? Nah

Just like people defending a movie they haven't even seen.

Which is why it's no surprise when they go into the movie and "love it".

I don't know about theories. I know i liked it, my friend who isn't a cb fan loved it a lot more than me and we had a good time. The worst thing about the movie is that i cry every time i think about that scene and the music. If this is an horrible movie and The Avengers is perfection, give me horrible.

Winner winner chicken dinner. It's MOS response/denial all over again but jacked up on roids.

Hmm, well these were screenings for marketing purposes. Maybe the context changes things?

And people who haven't seen it, but hate and trash it ? No mention for them, eh ?

So people liking a movie is "denial", but your word is gospel ?

Not sure if you're referring to me or not. I'm not "defending" the movie so much as discussing the basics concepts within it.

It's ludicrous to suggest that everyone who wants to like a movie will go into the movie and love it.

People like and dislike different things. Deal with it.

Because of course someone who likes something for reasons while you dislike it for other reasons must be in denial.

Wow.

You know looking back, those two Pakistani boys did look pretty stoned to me.

It was like Hamlet, they said. :funny:

It's like watching titanic sink. People talking about how bad outfits were for Batman and Superman and miss TDK suit now here on BvS boards.
