Call of Duty:Black Ops. (CoD 7)

Pass on all non IW developed CoD games. CoD has no business being developed by anyone other than Infinity Ward.

Well, "Infinity Ward" is just a name. And without the talent there it's a pretty hollow one. So I guess I pass on all Call of Duty games. :D

WAW was better than MW2 except in the campaign department.
Spec Ops= Biggest fail ever.

I hope Nazi Zombies returns & I DO mean Nazi Zombies because I liked the characters from the 2nd & 3rd map packs, especially the guy voiced by Steve Blum. "C'MON PUSS BAGS!!!!"

I kinda thought it would be cool if Treyarch made a full blown CoD Nazi Zombie game, campaign and multiplayer. :hyper:

I totally disagree with you. Treyarch did a wonderful job with WaW. IW is in shambles now anyways.

The only reason WaW was even playable was because Treyarch just lifted everything from IW and then slapped on a stupid, out of place game mode. Go back to CoD3, that hot mess was all Treyarch, so for their next outing they said hey, lets just take all the ideas of a better development team. Treyarch cant do anything worth a damn by themselves. They are lucky they have Activision to feed them table scraps.

CoD stopped being great with CoD4. Loved that game to death but the 2 that followed were rather disappointing

Why do people keep calling this Cod7. It would be the 6th. MW2 has spun off into its own series and was not supposed to be considered part of the main one

I wouldn't go that far. They made some pretty good Spider-Man games.

USM is the only one coming to mind, and that was decent. I guess you can count Spider-Man 2, but that game really doesnt hold up well. Its loved because it ushered in the free roam we now see in the Spidey titles.

Spiderman (PS2) was also good. Spiderman 2 was widely regarded as the best Spidey game although I personally would say the first one from the PS1 was

Yea im with you on that. Loved the orig PSX game.

I enjoyed World At War, mainly because it reminded me of the original game and I got it on the cheap. Apart from setting changing and the implementation of MMO like carrot-dangling (which was most likely taken from Battlefield), there fairly interchangeable to the point that it feels like the same game is being bought over and over again. Come to think of it, outside of Call Of Duty, what has Infinity Ward done? Unless I'm missing something, Treyarch's repertoire has extended beyond one note.

Yea, you have a point, but then again, that one note happens to be the fastest selling title in the history of the industry. I think IW has been wanting to do other titles for some time now(or at least take CoD in the direction they wanted), but Activision wont let them. Activision tried to keep IW focused only on the PC, they wanted to do consoles and luckily they got their way. I mean we have all heard how Activision didnt want IW to take CoD out of WWII, im sure there are other areas where Activision got their way. I think a similar situation is what forced Zampella and West and others to leave. That and Activision wont pay them.

Hey, Spidey-Vader...just curious, but what was wrong with Spec Ops? Was it a disappointment for most?

Because I though it was pretty fun.

Yeah, it was a disappointment. There was a fun missions, but for the most part they were all boring & a real drag to get all of the achievements in.

The multiplayer is fun & all, but I'm getting sick of the cheaters & glitchers. A simple beta would of fixed all of that, but IW/Activision thought their s*** didn't stink after COD4.

Yeah...I can see what you mean. I would have really like a story mode co-op option, or some kind of prologue or something.

The noobtubers can get pretty annoying, gotta say.
