except this isn't a debate,
Of course it is. You not wanting to participate doesn't change that.

my opinion doesn't require discussion and i've given you far more of a response than I'm required to.
I believe I've answered this already. Something about untested opinions being worthless. If I had said "God is silly" to a Christian, would he be out of line in asking for an explanation of that? Would "Because I feel that way" be sufficient explanation?

Although I think that people are over-criticizing the design of the TDK suit, and I am beyond sick of people repeating ad nauseum that it's "too busy," I really do like this manip of yours, and I possibly prefer it to what we're getting (without any kind of crotch straps or other "undies homage" whatsoever). You just need to simplify the spot above his chestpiece, but I'm sure you realize that. And I'd say that although your brows are good, TDK's are better.

I really think the TDK suit is too busy.

And not in the sense it neglects it's kids or something.

In the manip, the only thing I like about the cowl and neck is its one piece, thats what I meant, was about the manip of the suit a few posts back. The actual suit itself I wish they were one piece, but I like how the top part of the cowl looks anyways, I just think the neck looks kinda overdone.

My apologies. I agree with you on that one.

haha ya I usually get alot of withdrawl during the weekend when Im not at work, which is when I post most of the week. I just moved into a new house last week and we havent gotten out internet on yet, so for now its an all day 9-5 job on the hype too!

I think its pretty amazing that you cant even recognize that its Christian Bale in that suit.

It covers up everything but his eyes and mouth. It'd be hard to recognize anyone outside of John Merrick in that thing.

Ya but I feel its alittle different compared to the other films, other than maybe Kilmer, you could totally see the actors through the suit, not the performance for keaton atleast but just through the suit, Clooney you could see it was just him in a rubber bat-suit. Bale is almost un-recognizable in that thing.

I AM PUMPED!!!

Yes. And Nolan needs to let the camera "breathe" during the fight scenes. You know, pull it back just a little, so we can see what's happening!

:whatever:

Although, judging from the seemingly seizure-inducing effect TDK's puzzle-design suit has on some of you people, maybe you will actually now prefer the camera stay up close so you can avoid epileptic attacks from seeing its legs during fight scenes.

So is that good or bad for you?

Agreed. I never read posts longer than a few paragraphs and I laugh at long winded diatribes or line by line quoted analysis as I scroll through a page. Its....a....comic....book....character. Hardly deserving of an academic discussion which makes it all the more humorous when you see how serious some posters take this stuff.

We're all sitting around in front of computers and exchanging views on the same subject. Saint is able, seemingly with little effort, to articulate his views with more precision and convincing analyis than you or others. Why is it that you consider a less incisive and more remedial approach to be preferable? If a comic book character is worth the time to discuss at all, then why shouldn't Saint spend that time discussing it with logic and fluency?

You would think they were analyzing Napoleon's against all odds victory at Austerlitz, Mao Tse-tung's meteoric rise to leader of the communist party of China, or the flawed back door dealing of the US in the Iran Contra Affair. Instead its about nitpicking a damn rubber batsuit. LOL.

It's great fun to take a quick peak at namtaB's post history in order to have a chuckle at all of the instances in which he has attempted to "name drop" well known historical events in order to appear learned- usually after labelling someone else as pretentious! :woot:

I like the original cowl alot better, I hate the way this one looks. I like how the neck and top is one piece, but the facial expression is Blah!

The new cowl is my favorite aspect of the suit.

Love the expression and the fact that it appears more streamlined with the smaller mouth area.

I've stated why I consider it a waste of time. If Saint, you or whoever else wants to spend countless posts engaging in a discourse about the minutiae of a fictional comic book character by all means go for it. Its a free world but that doesn't mean I have to agree and vice versa.

I'm flattered you looked up my posts but please leave it at that, I don't need an online stalker. Thanks.

It's good that Bale is unrecognizable in the suit. It's supposed to hide his identity!
