When they shoot two films at once, do the actors get double pay??? Anyone know? I've wondered about that off and on since LotR, but always forgot to ask when there was someone around who might know.

I'm sure that's considered in the negotiations. I don't think it's a simple double amount because the shooting days will be shorter (as opposed to two separate shoots) but it will definitely be more than what will be offered if it's just one film.

Makes sense. Sounds like a way for the studios to increase their profit margins (unless they are making a SH movie that was released about a year ago and must not be named)

They get paid per movie. Filming simultaneously doesnt reduce their pay

I think thats something that affects the crew more than the actors, who's pay tends to be per project whereas crew tend to get paid based on time

Yeah, she dyed it red for The Glass Castle. That's been shooting since May, so I'd imagine they'll be done soon.

The upper stratosphere region.

In all seriousness though, she's from Boston, but she left home when she was 18 so I don't think much of it will be set there. And yes, she now lives in New York when not in space in the comics, but it's really anyone's guess where the various settings (like Air Force bases, etc) of this film will be.

The original volume of Captain Marvel (which features Carol's origin story) was set in Florida, fwiw.

Why do you think that? I would think IW1 would be the most logical, but I'm game for seeing Carol whenever. I don't think we'll see her as CM until CM......a long, long time from now.

Yeah, GotG Vol 2 is already filmed, for the most part (they might be done, not sure). If she's just now cast, then she's probably going to be set up in Infinity War 1 for her own film so that she can come to IW2 all awesome.
