I think that even if they don't show us the Supremor that they need to at least hint at it for a future movie. I really think the next phase for the MCU is going to be something that mashes up KREE/SKRULL WAR and SECRET INVASION in some way. If so, they need to give us an idea about who in the MCU universe is in charge of the Kree.

that and we need an explaination what happend with the Skrull in all these years!

Yeah but then the general audience would have no idea who she is. I think it'd make more sense to save her official introduction for Avengers 4... at that point most people will have already watched Captain Marvel and will (hopefully) actually be excited to see Carol join the rest of the team.

Yeah most of them would have no idea who she is but most would but then again you are right they should save her for Infinity War Part II but at least a mid or post credits scene introducing her would be the right way to go in Part 1 building up to her solo film of course

I don't know if that will be a stinger and how it can be done. I still think A4 will have Thanos as the main villain and our heroes fighting him. I think the stinger will involve the soul gem.

Stan Lee showing up in Carol's origin film is a given but in what cameo capacity? That remains to be seen but his cameos are always funny in Marvel films so I can imagine his cameo here in her film will be a funny one

Rick was part of the Marv-Ell mythos, being bonded with Captain Marvel and exchanging places with him when the Nega Bands were clanged together. And while Rick is a Hulk character in his origin he's also been linked with the Avengers, Capt. America, Rom The Space Knight and Marv's son Genis when he was Captain Marvel.

Frankly, myself and others think the MCU is a poorer place without Rick in it from the start. I hope it is true they use this movie to introduce him.
