My eyes have now seen officially released footage of the Wrong Captain Marvel film. Wrong Captain Marvel already has a trailer, but this movie doesn't. I'm starting to lose faith in its existence. It was all a lie, wasn't it.

I finally watched I, tonya last night and Mackenna grace who is playing young carol was in it. She was really good! Marvel sure do know how to cast well

The people that go to comic con already know about the movie. Basically preaching to the choir. Everyone that went to SDCC saw IWs and the credit scene.



How many movies actually get a boost from SDCC? Whenever I went I wasn't convinced to watch something 99% of the time.

I could see have seen them showing up if they had finished footage to show but with them having only finished filming like a couple weeks ago, I'm fine with them waiting to showcase it at a later date.

Marvel last skipped SDCC in 2015. Gosh, Captain America: Civil War really suffered from that absence, didn't it?

Welp I don't watch any of those shows. Only time I ever remember Comic Con being talked about on tv is when G4 was a thing. Besides that maybe costumes are shown or a silly question/moment at a panel.

Mckenna Grace is such a talented young actress. I recommend you to watch Gifted (Chris Evans, Mckenna Grace, Octavia Spencer...).

I'd love to see Mckenna Grace and Jacob Tremblay in a movie together.

That’s because DC still needs to build good will and excitement. Marvel could drop a trailer 2 weeks before this movie opens and it will still make money.

Plus DC needed the exposure after JL so I can see why there was hardly any promotion if at all for Captain Marvel but when it comes time for release Captain Marvel will knock Shazam out of the stratosphere anyway in terms of revenue as far as people going to see Carol's film rather than Shazam anyway

I think you'll find Shazam will make less than Captain Marvel despite the former being at Comic Con.

Well... While all young boys fantasize about getting super powers... Yeah I can confirm we think about touching boobies even more.



Guys... Really, the lack of SDCC exposure this year is not going to affect this film. More people saw the ending of IW and it's post credit than actually follow SDCC developments in terms of the wider audience.
