Trailer 1 was slightly better for me. I do love the music in both trailers.

There's a difference between intelligence and feeling that your opinion is more valid than others. And yes some people are terrible and hate anyone having even a vaguely liberal mindset but I don't think her intellectual prowess is the only reason people dislike her. As I said her having the gall to say a picture of herself on a magazine would break the internet... I mean just the connotation to Kim Kardashian by proxy isn't really going to encourage confidence.

There was an insane amount of hype about the first reveals for this movie, and I'm sure she heard from her Marvel co-stars just how crazy the hype train gets... it was not at all unreasonable of her to expect the costume reveal would be a big deal. Maybe it didn't "break the internet" but what does that even f***ing mean? Articles about it were everywhere, so it wasn't that off base

Or maybe she was just using some hyperbole to help market the movie. Isn't that her job and why Marvel is paying her millions?

I don't believe Brie Larson is arrogant, I think she's just a bit of a dork. But she means well

Anyway, does anyone remember how freaking magnetic her performance in Scott Pilgrim was? She stole every scene she was in.

The things some people have against Brie. smh. Like I said, some want her to fail for one ridiculous reason or the other.

I should expect as much out of the fanboy/girl set given the last few years but I honestly never expected this place to be like it is now in the immediate aftermath of the second trailer.

I don't understand how an actress' performance can be judged by a teaser trailer and a trailer. How can anyone judge her facial expressions or voice inflections without understanding the context of each scene?

I believe there is a reason that she is acting emotionally detached. She has amnesia and doesnt know she is from Earth, so how do you expect her to have any attachments towards Earth. She only seems sure of one thing, she is a "Kree warrior hero", and a very focused and highly trained one. Which would make it safe to assume that she is very focused which can make her seem very emotionally detatched.

There are always some people who would complain but most would like to see some emotions on her face at least for a 1 second of the trailer.

waiting for fox deal to finalize so rogue can steal her powers:cwink:

I think there's more potential in a female Asian superhero like Sailor Moon actually, especially after Wonder Woman practically ripped off her costume! :funny:
No seriously I rather watch Sailor Moon played by an actual Asian actress...

Is there a Director's Cut with that scene in it..? Not that I would look it up and stuff, but just curious...

brie larson is a great actress, people out here sayin she lackin presence or charisma seem to forget its the way the character is supposed to act

i mean she did lost her memory, lets wait & see...

I remember writing something similar after the first trailer. About her basically being behind a 'brick wall' because it looked like she didn't know where she was or whom she could trust, and that included herself with her faulty memories. It boggles the mind how people are going so negative, especially when they haven't even seen the movie yet. It's a duck out of water scenario, and we're going to see her finding her way, which will include more than two second clips designed to fit into a two minute trailer whose main objective is to be fast and exciting rather than to fill in all the plot points before the movie is even out.

Brie Larson is a good actress, and hearing people saying she has no 'charisma' or such reminds me of all those who said Gal Gadot could not act, which amounted pretty much to just hot air after just the first few minutes of her being on screen. I'm excited that Brie got this role and that we're going to get a lot more of her in the blue/red suit. Her past roles have proven to me that she's got this, and I'm going to trust that.

I think the best people are dorks! :D

And I do think she was pretty good in that scene. She was playing her part perfectly, and she did steal that scene - at least until Routh punched the highlights out of that girl's hair...:D:

No I don't....didn't realize she was in that film until now...and I've seen it twice. Her performance is forgettable; it's amazing anyone can pick out one very brief scene of hers & turn it into confirmation of her acting chops.

I'm sorry, to all the fans of her; but, Marvel missed the boat on her...terrible casting for the lead role of CM. Marvel comes all this way...after 11yrs & what will amount to 22 films...to the end of the run with this.<smh> I hope she can pull it off; but, I haven't seen anything inspiring, yet alone compelling, from her.....and her voice seem so misplaced somehow(I can't explain it).

But no seriously, sorry but you're in the minority to feel that way. Her performance in SP was unanimously praised and on YouTube her rendition of Black Sheep has far more views that even the original video by Metric. She's good, brah

EDIT:

Brie Larson saying "Yo should so. Totally. Come." is better than sex. Change my mind.

She was the best thing about that King Kong sequel. Well, her and Samuel L. Jackson's overacting.

I started watching United States of Tara. It's really remarkable discovering all the things she was in 10 years ago. She built up quite the resume. It's not as if she dropped out of nowhere. I can't wait to see her in this film and others. She really works well in indie films.

That film Free Fire was excellent.

The hype around Endgame makes me want this movie to be a grander success than Black Panther was.

I'd prefer having the Captain immune to that, or maybe lend it to Rogue for a while.

Lmao!:wow: Are You Serious! WoW...I think you may be one of those "starlet stalkers." The best thing about that film was John C Reilly & Jason Mitchel...those two carried the film.

You're both forgetting Tom Hiddelston.
