I don't think many put Hemmsworth up there with the likes of Downey or Evans...I think you're overstating it; however, he was readily excepted, although a relatively new actor, at the time of casting. Neitherless, many out the gate, loved his casting as Thor & loved how he embodied the character, even after lukewarm reception of TDW yrs later. As the previous video states she is stolic(if that's a word), Chris has personality...and that goes a long ways, in garnering fan support of the character & film, for an actor/actress.

I can appreciate being tired of certain & obvious trolling for the sake of....although I didn't hate the number of people bashing the casting of Holland as Peter/Spidey, because of his ascent...feeling other fan favorite could better portray someone from Queens vs someone with an English ascent...so yeah I get it: don't confuse those with constructive criticism.

When Thor came out and even after AoU and TDW, people complained about him as Thor and about the Thor character's use in general. I remember because I was there and I read those posts and was in those discussions. Which again, seem odd now that Thor's popularity has surged in recent movies. Heck, I can personally say I was not a fan of Hugh Jackman's version of Wolverine or how he was used largely...until The Wolverine. That movie changed my perception of him, and Wolverine as a whole turned a corner for me starting then. To a point where his final film gave me all the feels. Something I never would have thought could happen 10 years ago after XMO:W. Similarly, Brie's story will be told when her tenure ends. Her solo is merely a starting point.

^ I can confirm all of that is true because I was one of Hemsworth's biggest detractors. I thought he was miscast and at one point I was even wishing Marvel would get rid him. Then Ragnarok happened.

As long as they reach the ground they should be alright.

Bron-Char.....is that some sort of amalgamation of Charles Bronson?

It really is, to the point that I wish it was the Captain Marvel poster.

Fans pick 'Avengers,' 'Captain Marvel' as 2019's most anticipated films in Fandango poll
Those fans are also pretty pumped about Brie Larson in “Captain Marvel" (out March 8), the second-most popular film in the survey. Her fighter pilot/space warrior Carol Danvers will be seen in “Avengers 4” after the character’s introductory solo outing.

Other findings in the poll:
►The women of Marvel and “Star Wars” had a lock on most anticipated actress. Larson led the field, followed by Scarlett Johansson (“Endgame”), Daisy Ridley (“Episode IX”) and Karen Gillan (“Endgame”).

Why do the Kree look like Kroger brand Star Trek villains?

Also cool to get some confirmation that Mar-Vell will be in this.
