CR is a great movie but in Skyfall Craig is more like Bond therefore I think Skyfall is a better movie.
It's like the difference between BB and TDK, in BB Bruce is becoming Batman and in TDK he 'IS' Batman.

You can have your serious Bond movies and enjoy them, but some of us love the more fun, escapist elements of Bond. We get it. You love Craig and those serious Bond movies. But you know you and most people forget? It's those outlandish, larger than life elements that kept the series alive for this long. It's what made the Bond movies different. The charm of some of the older Bond movies were that they didn't take themselves too seriously. I don't mind that they're dated because it's part of the charm. The older movies are essentially period pieces.

Though I love my serious Bond, I also love the classic campy Bond as well. This post is right on the money.

The classic Bond wasn't campy. He didn't get campy until they started making bad movies.

I can't agree. For every bit of suave in Skyfall, you have moments like with him and M overlooking Scotland and his collapsing during the exam. How suave is not being able to hit a target? The CR Bond is the same as the Skyfall Bond. There are just simply more puns in the script.

Bond in CR is also suave as all get out. He is just a little more angry, a little younger, rougher around the edges. Look at him catch the bomber's gun, strut into the embassy, or how he respond to Vesper when she ask him if he is going to seriously go back in and continue playing.

I can watch Rambo 3, bare with it. I grew up with it. It doesn't make it a good movie imo.
