Cast and Crew: So far!

It's no big deal and yeah it looks like they're getting putting together a good crew. Silver Surfer and Galactus deserve nothing but the best:up:

As far as cast goes i'm curious will Hamish Linklater, Stan Lee and Laurie Holden return?

I hope so. I liked Leonard, as for Holden, what roll would she play ? Debbie is a dead issue. Stan always has a cameo. And I can't imaging how Stan felt on this one. Must have been a thrill beyond imagination, Playing a charactor he created, in a movie version of the first superheros he created. He must have thought he died and went to heaven. I know I would have.

I liked Leonard too. Debbie could come back for a cameo. You could have her bump in to Ben and Alicia. When she sees them together she realizes that someone has accepted him for who he is and not what he looks like. That hits really hard. I don't knowi think that could be a good scene.

Could be, and it would serve her right.

These all sound like positive changes:up:

Indeed. :) But I only hope they are doing it for a better movie reasons, and not because they are looking to go on the cheep.

No worries.

Yeah, i agree.

Love Bone Collector btw (one of his films). Very underrated imo.

I loved "Bone Collector" as well, but editing that film and FF is totally different in my opinion.....if what you say is true and he didn't have full control....THEN I have the same problem with him that I do with Story.....

Story is a good director, but in my opinion did not have control of the first movie......him coming back is a major problem for me if the same thing happens again in the sequel.....so I'm still worried about Hoy, much more so than Story....

I still think it will be Paul Walker( pretty boy) or Wentworth Miller(Prison Break FOX) Or a unknown actor. K.Reeves would bring alot more hype but I think he's too big of a name.

You have good reason to be. If it was up to the director i think he'd choose for a much longer shooting and post production schedule. Maybe Story has won more cred with the studio because of FF's success at the BO?

I hope so, but an August 15 -- December 31 shoot....just doesn't do it for me.....I know they'll shoot through Christmas....but still.....not enough time in my opinion....so either he has confidence they can do this....or we are as screwed as we were the first time...

I still say they will be shooting something before Aug. 15th. That's still 2 months away.

Its not enough time really. Just look at all the big movies coming out next summer. Spider-Man 3 has been filming since November last year.

'Beck23' sent us a bit of a scoop for Fantastic Four 2. Here is what he had to say:

Spectral Motion the company that created creature effects, props, and make-up effects for movies such as Fantastic Four, Hellboy and X-Men The Last Stand, has been awarded a contract to work on Fantastic Four 2. The team headed by Mike Elizalde will be once again working on the makeup and prostethics for the Thing and a few 'other characters'.

Mike Elizalde is the President and CEO of Spectral Motion, the company IS responsible for the spectacular special effects employed to bring The Thing and Dr. Doom to life in Fantastic Four.

Spectral Motion doesn't do all of the cgi...

I am confused about the shoot dates. Three sites I have checked say 15th August- 1st December, one of them says until Dec 31st. They are all reliable...

I think from Tim Story on his blog it says August 15th to December 31st...
