Okay, I've expanded my fancast to include The Villains:

Beetle as an opening battle type side villain, just there to get arrested so he can be in the Thunderbolts. Schultz isn't Shocker quite yet, but is the tech support behind Mysterio.

And The Industrialists:

Smythe is OsCorp's top scientest. Kingsley is upgraded from fashion designer to a rival industrialist to Norman. Liz Allen is reworked as Kingsley's daughter, whom Norman is trying to set up with Harry.

Hobgoblin's my fave villain so I'm not a fan of removing the fashion designer aspect, particularly in a film. You could have some real fun with that. A generic industrialist would be a downgrade. Really like the Keaton casting though.

I don't know much about Oyelowo to be honest. I can't think of anything I've seen him in (haven't seen Selma). I'm not really a proponent for recasting existing characters in a different race for the sake of political correctness, but if I see someone who strikes me as a good fit, or more specifically demonstrates the qualities that I think embody a certain character (like Wrights performance in Source Code) then I don't have a problem with it.

This has nothing to do with casting, but I feel compelled to point out that the title of this thread is woefully inaccurate because Marvel Studios doesn't HAVE a Spider-Man Universe. All they get to do is integrate Spider-Man into the existing MCU on what is currently a one-film basis in return for voluntarily helping Sony relaunch the character's solo franchise for the second time in 13 years.
