About the most appropriate one I can post :p

Nice. Now you should post some pics of Amanda and Julianne Moore from Chloe. ;)

I forgot about that.......

I need to go for ten minutes.......Something I need to do :)

:D

Hahaha

That movie was terrible but it was worth it for THAT scene.

Indeed. Julianne Moore would have a kickin' body for a 27 year old, let alone a 50 year old!

What's in 10 minutes?

You want an Aunt May on her death bed, you mean?

I've already suggested Julie Andrews. She will be 80 this year though. How will she realistically continue this role if you cast someone as old as her?

And why should Aunt May be old enough to be Peter's grandmother? Heck, Rosemary Harris now is old enough to be Peter's great grandmother at 87 if he is still in his mid teens. :wow: Even when she played the part before in 2002 she was old enough to be his great grandmother.

Either they change the relationship to May actually being Peter's great aunt, or they make her a more appropriate age.

I think Joker said it best: Aunt May has to be in her 60's/70's. It'll probably be closer to 60's, and I'm ok with that since this is supposedly going back to high school days.

The original concept Stan Lee had for May was that:

A) She was always in somewhat frail health. (which gave reason for some drama)
B) She was somewhat 'behind the times'. (Which, was probably more a reaction to how kids saw their parents back then in the 60's)
C) She was an 'old school' doting Aunt, probably more like a grandmother than an aunt. Someone who'd worry if he was dressed warmly enough,if he ate properly, etc. Frankly, that plays better with an older woman than a 47 year old.
All three reasons were also the basis for the reason why Peter had to keep his identity from her. It would be less of a burden to him if Aunt May was a 'pal',but the original concept was that he'd go it alone. May wasn't to be his 'Alfred'.

I just think they should keep to the original Lee/Ditko concept.

OK, now you're just taking shots.

I wouldn't mind Ashley Benson as Felicia. How old is she?

In my post on the previous page, I gave reasons why she can't be in her 60s or 70s, if you do the math. It's just too old.

Aunt May, as drawn by Ditko, reminds me of the grandmother in the Waltons, as played by Ellen Corby:

She was always old and in frail health.

Corby would've made a very classic May, but I really don't want Aunt May to look like that.

And woman can still be in poor health even in her 40s or 50s. Are you saying women only get sick later in life? I know lots of women who have ailments even in their 20s (diabetes, anaemia, cancer, ME etc).

Meryl Streep, she's perfect for a mix between Ultimate and classic Aunt May.

They could play the older versions, but with a former hippie vibe. I stick to that.

I admire Dark Raven's persistence in wanting a MILFy Aunt May, even if I don't quite understand it.
