Precisely. Haysbert has portrayed a president and a father with great presence in 24, while still coming across as benevolent. He would be a great play-off for JJJ.

I kinda feel his presence would over power any scene with him and JJJ

they would really have to go all out with JJJ casting to get someone who could hold his own against him

No, I think if you get J.K. Simmons back or cast Bob Odenkirk as JJJ, they would hold their own. Robbie needs to be the steady head that keeps the Bugle running.

Yes, definitely a "nice" guy type actor that can be humorous should be Uncle Ben.

Somone like Hanks or Kevin Kline.

I think I'm partial to J.K. Simmons returning, just because he gave such an iconic portrayal, that he could be cast and not have this new MCU being tied to the Raimi continuity. I don't think you can say that for the other actors in any of the 5 movies.

But, if Simmons does reprise the role, I'd still like to see Odenkirk cast as someone in the Spidey universe (or MCU). Not sure who (if not JJJ). Similarly, I'd like to see Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk cast in some role, possibly villain in the Spidey films, again not sure who.

But, I definitely see Bryan Cranston as Norman Osborn.

JK Simmons IS Jameson. I don't see any other actor in that role or being as iconic as he was. That's the one person that should carry over into multiple spider man movies, kinda like Judi Dench's M in the Bond movies.

I could see Tom Hanks as Uncle Ben. And we know he wanted to be in a Marvel movie.But,like Streep,I can't see them getting a multiple Oscar winner to do 15 minutes in a movie. (at least without playing them a ton) And given that there is probably only going to be a flashback or two, Ben isn't likely to be onscreen for even 10 minutes this time.

I would actually rather have Dreyfuss as Uncle Ben. He can be very charismatic and lovable, while still portraying a sense of moral responsability.

Now that I think of it, he did portray a similar role in that not-so-good Paranoia movie with Hemsworth, Ford and Oldman.
