They actually had a team up a long time ago. Gosh that would be so awesome seeing her go head to head with spidey, and kinda play with her wavering allegiances between good and evil some more after AoU

I'd rather see her and Spidey team up than Black Cat, which is a bit on-the-nose at this point.

Mysterio could use and manipulate her for her magic, and spidey can try to appeal to her good side.

This seems like a pipe dream though. How long ago did Spidey and Witch team up?

.......1983 :oldrazz:

But they've had a decent amount of character interactions, and marvel makes moves not based on any direct source material a lot of the time. Yondu had no relationship whatsoever to Starlord in the comics and he was a father figure to him in the film. But yea, the odds are probably slim of them thinking of the same idea we have. They'll probably want to make connections like that though to push this new spidey so it's definitely possible

Witch is a prominent character in the Marvel roster anyway. At the very least, She and Spidey would team up in an Avengers flick.

I'm sure somebody has posted this before, but it definitely cements my reasoning as to why Cranston would be a perfect Norman/GG:

Keeping in mind, of course, he played a slimey businessman in Total Recall so there's that. (not forgetting to mention: Heisenberg)

You know, I had suggested Michael Keaton for Norman before, but now that I think about it, he'd make an even greater Roderick Kingsley.

My final MCU Spider-Man villain dream casting

Ralph Fiennes... Norman Osborn/Green Goblin

Christoph Waltz... Dr. Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus

Jimmy Smits... Sergei Kravinoff/Kraven the Hunter

Forest Whitaker... Quentin Beck/Mysterio

Peter Capaldi... Adrian Toomes/Vulture

Terry Crews... Alex O'Hirn/Rhino

Charlie Hunnam... Herman Schultz/Shocker

Vincent D'Onofrio... Wilson Fisk/Kingpin

Michael Imperioli... Hammerhead

Kaya Scodelario... Felicia Hardy/Black Cat

Uzo Aduba... Calypso

I'v heard this idea of DiCaprio as Norman mentioned before, not sure I can really get behind it... if anything I could more easily see him as Ned Leeds

His voice makes him sound too boyish. It just kills the vibe.

If any of you guys caught the Jurassic world Super Bowl spot, that kid in the robot-ball thingy screaming has been one of my top picks for spidey, he was great in Kings of Summer

He's great in Melissa & Joey... but I don't think he's right for Peter.

Depends on how well he could pull of the intellectual side of Peter. He certainly plays the slightly awkward but confident outcast type really well in KoS. And I think he'd be awesome with the spidey quips.

You know, after thinking about it, I think I'll go with my original choice of Fiennes for Norman. He's been my choice since the first reboot was announced, he just oozes the qualities needed for that kind of character.

I want Fiennes in the spiderman series. Who I want him to play; he'd be a great Norman, but I fear his wit may take a backseat there. Dock Ock, Mysterio, Curt Connors, there's many possibilities for him. I suck at choosing though

I see what you mean, but Norman is a role Fiennes was born to play. Hell, he even looks like comics Norman.

Plus, lord voldemort as goblin? That could be amazing!

Fiennes is just perfect for this role. I would have liked Cooper to be the Goblin too, though, but that ship has since sailed....

Just a new name to add to the conversation. Will Shadley. You'd probably recognize him from Nissan's "With Dad" commercial that aired last night during the Super Bowl.

He's 15.

Updated my Eddie/Venom pick from Jake Abel to Alex Russell (Chronicle, Carrie, etc.).

I have two top picks for Vulture: Peter Capaldi and Richard Jenkins. Which of the two would be better?

Capaldi would make a better JJJ and Jenkins would make a better Uncle Ben.

I guess my lone criteria for possible Vulture actors is being an older, cranky bald guy lol. Capaldi is my current top choice. Shave his head, and he's like the comics come to life.
