Yes, but it's not like everyone is all the same from that show. Just because Cameron Boyce is undesirable as Peter Parker doesn't mean Peyton List couldn't be good as MJ.

Here are a couple of clips with her as she is in real life, when she's not playing her character in Jessie. She is pretty bubbly, and she kind of reminds me of a young Amber Heard at times, which is what some people have wanted for MJ anyway.

She's pretty outgoing too, as you can see in the first clip where she does all the talking and just has more presence than the other girl.

Not bad. Although if they do teen Gwen, then they could also use Peyton List:

She's the same age. She needs to somehow change her name though, because it gets confusing having her go round with the same name as Peyton List from the Flash.

The name is pretty confusing. But she would be pretty good casting, though I see her more as MJ tha Gwen.

In all seriousness though, you could only probably cast one of them and not both, but Spencer does look pretty much like a comic book Spidey. But I've only seen Peyton act, and I know she's got a great MJ personality. So who do you choose?

I would actually prefer Bridgit Mendler, formerly from Good Luck Charlie, as MJ than Debby Ryan:

Debby looks a bit like a big beauty. Her face is a little too round and large, and hardly looks like the girl everyone would be chasing after.

Well, they're already in the system, might as well keep them at "home".


Anyway, as for Debbie Ryan, I think the difference in her appearence has a lot to do with a role as a Disney star. When on and promoting her show, she tends to look more like DR's picture, which makes sense. Disney wants her to look younger and more innocent. I have no idea which is her "real" face, though.
